Victorias acting is masterclass. Her evolution in You season 2 and 3 is amazing, especially in season 3 where you see here slowly turn crazy and lose herself. If you watch an episode of season 2 then jump to the end of season 3 its like shes a different person. Then the last episode of season 3 when eating dinner with Joe when he asks for a divorce.... her facial expression looks like at that moment the crazy finally hits a boiling point. Then its her fully psycho as she sharpens the knife and goes up to slit Joes throat. That seen absolutely blew me away at how amazing of an actor she is. The show YOU in general is a masterpiece, and after rewatching season 4 a bunch of times and realizing the master piece it is... I can not wait for season 5, it will be the best season yet!

He loved his sister and wanted to help her by killing Joe. I liked him. He was by far, closer to getting Joe in jail/dead than Candace. The man too smart for his own good, rip Forty.

Actually acting is really hard, and sometimes, actors just act like themselves, if they were in the situation. They act like how they think they would react to that situation. THat is why many celebrities seem like their characters sometimes.

Except, he’s not a cop. Not a vigilante, who actively pursued serial killers. Never in love with a sister. He’s not an Medical Examiner, or any type of scientist. He also usually stumbles into killing many of his victims, not surgical in any way. I mean Dexter is more of a mix of Hannibal Lector and Will, from the tv series. While this guy is usually killing perceived “bad people” as they cross his path. Alright I’m done, just think comparing You, to Dexter, is a bit lazy. I mean how does it feel like Dexter, other than there are murders, and occasionally Joe kills “bad people?” I’m very curious, maybe there’s something I’m missing.

Jonathan Gonzalez Maybe that’s why folks are saying Dexter vibe, but Dexter’s narration was so different, and they couldn’t be more different. Dexter would’ve had Joe on his table within a few weeks of living in his city. 🤣

CorbCorbin oh yea no doubt. Dexter is far better at doing the killings than joe. Joe is sloppy. but they both had their own justifications for the killings. Dexter is just well crafted in it.
