I just broke the guides of my tica 9ft rod I don’t know what to do. If any on could tell me where i can get it fix that would be awesome to get my rod fixed. Josh love your videos and everything that you do for the fishing Community. Tight lines and stay hooked.

I broke my tip guide, the local tackle shop was able to fix it for 8$ , if it is any other guides I'm not sure the process, you might have to send your rod away to a professional 🤔

9'-14' (Length) Heavy Power-Fast Action (Surf Rod) Surf casting rods are nice for casting heavy baits for a long long distance. Need a good solid rod with this Penn Spinfisher 8500LL or 9500 with 100lb Power Pro and a 4'ft heavy 150lb test Steel Leader. Depends on where you are with laws/regulations. I use a 3ft 150lb test steel leader with a heavy duty swivel attached to 100lb test Power Pro Braid. Works great and I have never lost a shark. Also suggest you use leader crimps to crimp on a 3x Heavy Duty Circle Hook Sized to match your bait.

Does anyone know if the bail is supposed to flip closed when u turn the handle for the reel? I just got a 8500ll vi, and it doesn’t close. My older 8500ll v closes. So does my 4500ll vi that one closes when I turn the handle too. But my new 8500 doesnt

The automatic bail closing stops at the 5500 model. All of the bigger models have manual bails.
