I was a competitive swimmer for 17 years and can't imagine what a slap in the face this must he for the biological females that are forced to compete against him. You're "blame" is misplaced. The USA Swimming Foundation knew full well that Lia going through Male puberty and then living as a post pubescent Male for over a decade gives Lia an unfair advantage over Females in the field of swimming. This is why Lia was EVENTUALLY banned from competing in any female Aquatics event from 2022 onwards. I have no problem with Lia competing in MALE swimming competitions in the spirit of fairness.

After living 25yrs as a female and now 7yrs detransitioned I applaud this decision. I once, ad a trans, wanted to train for triathalons and knew, as a trans I vould never be able to compete with females unles it was a co mingled group. Competing with women was not a trans issue but a moral like awareness that no matter how many hormones I took or all the surgeries I partook of I wad still a bilogical man whom my conscious was hard on constant affirming I was born a man, had trans symptoms, lived it and respected the biologicL womans world so stepping and demanding to accept me as a female in a sport was either foolish, biologically wrong, a pride ego thing.
