I was a competitive swimmer for 17 years and can't imagine what a slap in the face this must he for the biological females that are forced to compete against him. So now apparently a man's feeling take the front seat to women's hard work...disgusting! That is actual misogyny! To put this in perspective, I was nowhere near the caliber of athlete that someone like Ruley Gaines is, but I worked out for 4 hours a day. 4am swim practice before classes and another two hours after classes, not including the weight training and calisthenics. All of that hard work for over a decade!!! In Brazil we have an MMA transgender fighter (male to "female") that refused to compete with women because she knows that it would be utterly unfair. Her name is Anne Viriato. And furthermore she transitioned at the age of 12, so she didn't go through her whole puberty "as a man" like Lia. Now THAT is what I call integrity.
