@@tvshowsnmovies1234 Well it doesn’t help that our athletes have no respect for our country and would rather kneel or turn away when our anthem plays. I don’t care what their politics are. They are representing our country and to do that shit is so beyond disrespectful and is embarrassing as well. Therefore I love to hear that viewership is down just like the NFL. Keeps politics out of it. You are not representing yourself. You are representing your country. So i say fuck all those olympians who disrespect our country(not all of them do it but it’s starting to get out of hand). This is coming from a military brat who has respect because her family has fought for this country.

@@sarahprince2412 I just said that the coverage that NBC does is terrible. I do agree that kneeling is terrible, but my dad thinks its to fight racism. Pisses me off so bad.

Penn, Kim, you have no idea how inspiring this is to me. I always wanted to try polevaulting but didn't go to a school that had such a thing. Seeing you do this Penn, is so cool. I'm in my late forties now with a neurologic condition that came on me suddenly a few years ago, and I desperately want to overcome it. Ive always been a "doer." Why watch when you can try something yourself? being relegated to the couch has been really difficult for me mentally. Seeing this was just so ... great. Thank you! I feel like maybe I'll be able to do things again if I just keep trying. While I'm here, I also LOVE your songs and videos. They make me laugh and miss my own performing days. My late husband was building a little recording set up for me to mess around with, but I don't have the wonderful creativity you guys have. Thank you for sharing your wonderful talents and humor with us all. Very sincerely, Darcey

You gold (for doing it thru your fear), Kim silver (for supporting you thru her fear)and the pole bronze (for not breaking). I also think you deserve to write yourself a song. Oh, we want a song from your perspective! *Does anyone agree with me?* 👇 👇 👇

Just curious, how sore were you the next day(s) from learning pole vault due to muscles being used differently than normal?

Penn that was excellent! From all of us "middle agers" you make us proud to do something most of us will never try or have the guts to try! After two knee replacements this year,Today, I was just happy to start trying to walk down the side walk without a cane. (Yay me!) But Hey you give me a lot of hope that if you want to do something, to just do it! Today you did pole vaulting, tomorrow or maybe some day for me I'll get to stand and play pool!
