Nah that was a lucasfilm design with those three hilts, Plo-Koon and Luminara's sabers are suppose to be Clan Sabers from the Order but they customized their sabers in different ways. The reasoning behind Maul's saber looking like a Jedi Clan Saber is probably something George Lucas didnt really think about.

I would agree with what you’re saying, but these sabers have been the same design since the prequels before disney owned them. You can be mad at disney for deciding to make those two because they could just cheat and make them for the purpose. But it’s smart and authentic to the original design

@@Penn2Flo disney failed with the Ben solo design and several others that were retired. The biggest problem is that people want options and this gives them the option to have blue or green. I hear people all day complain about the fact you can’t change the color. I’m seriously surprised they haven’t made a revan legacy. It’s a cheap yet effective way to sell more of these things. However. They should have released them in waves by movie. Three at a time.

I completely forgot Luminara’s was released at all. So when I saw Plo Koon’s NEXT TO Luminara’s I was like, “It’s literally just a slight recolor.” And the guy working the counter was trying not to laugh 😂 Other than super fans, who is gonna want both of them? And even then both of these are just Darth Maul’s in reverse 🤨 eh whatever. Plo Koon is a great character with a lot of fans so I’m glad they’re getting this

Super glue. It's a known issue with the leia hilt. I have had 2 do the same thing
