I think using a rubber band is not a good idea since rubber bands are made from rubber, which is an insulating material, meaning it can block or disrupt the electrical current needed for the device to work effectively. I am so glad you made this video. I have been using my NuDerma for awhile now to help with random breakouts (it is EXCELLENT for that!) but I could never figure out how to get slip to use it for product penetration / facials (I would basically douse myself in serum haha!) So excited to try the gauze with rubber band technique. [BY THE WAY, I have been seeing many random instagram/FB ads for random high frequency devices and they OFTEN include short clips from your youtube video. Not sure if you are aware! When shopping for this, I was very confused about the color of the wand being clear. There were many reviews from people thinking they had received the wrong or defective applicator wands. If you have questions- WATCH Penny's previous video on this!! They all appear clear when not in use. When it's touched to the skin the gas color shows

I LOVE high frequency! I remember getting my first treatment when I was going through fertility treatments and having the WORST time with my skin due to the hormones (this was 20 years ago so very strong). It seemed to be the only thing that calmed my skin. I used to have to go to an esthetician at that time, now I have my own wand. Anyway, Penny, I'm interested in you using the stem cell product, Bradceuticals, BEFORE barrier repair. Intuitively I would have switched these--is it important not to? Also, I like to use the pencil rod on an area at the tip of my nose with a skin abnormality, as well as on areas of hyperpigmentation. I used it to treat some spots that rose up on my chest and it helped A LOT!

Hi Penny, Do you still recommend high-frequency wands? Do you find they help with anti aging? If so, how do they help with anti aging long term? If not, what are the risks that warrant avoiding high frequency? Asking, bc i have the NuDerma wand (neon "anti-aging" version), and i want to use it more consistently (for jaw sagging and "turkey neck" concerns, specifically) but I've heard recently about devices "melting face fat." I watched this video a couple years ago, and, as a some time has passed since then, i wondered if there was new information about long term high frequency benefits. I seem to only be able to find articles and videos on "how to use high frequency," or "before and after" videos featuring acne benefits. I usually say avoid the thyroid if you have any issues with the thyroid. I have never personally had any trouble treating the front of my neck, but it is very individual ❤️

I even bought my sister one bc It works so well!
