Your hair always looks great but the straight blunt look is super chic. I follow Gabi too and love her. I bought the TYMO oval air brush because of her and love it. But seeing the straight comb again on your hair…I just put it in my cart. I have to have it. I have fine, medium dense wavy, curly and straight hair in various parts of of my head so it is inconsistent and frizzes easily. This will make my straight looks possible!

Oh my gosh Penny, I saw you using the Tymo Ring on Instagram and I bought it, and I’m going to use it for the first time today! I wanted to mention that it comes with a glove to use to protect your hands, two hair clips, and a nice brush for detangling before you pull your hair through. I’m so excited about it. My hair is very frizzy, so I have to flat iron every few days and I really noticed how it’s frying my hair. So I have high hopes for this tool. I also put the green BB cream in my basket for my mother who has really bad skin redness issues. I’m going to give that to her for Christmas in her stocking. So many good things- I can’t wait to try that lip pencil you recommend.

Hi Penny the Ameliorate body lotion fragrance free version is a long term favourite of mine. I believe it's pronounced Amelia (like the girl's name) - or - ate. they also have a hair line and some facial products, but none of those have a fragrance free option. I've found a much more affordable alternative though from Superdrug - their AHA lotion is mostly lactic acid and works really well at £3.99 for 200mls (fragrance free). The Rosalique product is one I tried last year. I'm super super pale and it looked orangey green on me (so fair skin beware), but it is a great texture and has a colour correcting effect on redness - I would rather be red than orangey green though lol. I gave it to a more medium toned friend and she liked it. I really love liquid and cream complexion makeup - I can't remember the last time I used a powder blush tbh. I have extremely dry, menopausal, rosacea and eczema prone skin and cream/liquid products are just more flattering on me. I also use a lot of cream or liquid highlighters and far prefer a pearlescent effect - luminous on the skin without any shimmer and definitely no glitter. If I'm going to use one of my powder highlighters then I use it under my cream/liquid blush. A good buy from Amazon UK is the Altruist 10% urea lotion (a regular repurchase for me). I don't buy a ton from Amazon tbh, but this is a way to access this brand easily. Best wishes.

I'm definitely going to try the Ameliorate product ! Here's one I like: Amirce Electric Massage Comb. It's actually a brush. It's great for scalp massage to stimulate blood flow and just relax. Sure! Ok so there are several websites I use (and then I research individual ingredients myself to determine how good or not good they are): My favorite sites are Incidecoder (this is SO good for learning…you can really dive in to specifics and learn a ton). CosDNA SkinSkool (awesome for looking for “dupes” or for products that are similar to ones you like). I have a gazillion books that I’ve learned from too- Dermal needling by Lance Setterfield is one-I’ve learned so much about skin/skincare/ingredients from that book. Any book by Rebecca Small- great way to really learn about technical stuff (lasers, injectables etc). Initially books by Paula Begoin started my research love (20 years or more ago) called “Don’t go to the cosmetics counter without me”. Those books are still amazing today! Hope that helps. There’s so much more… Pub Med is also fantastic for reserving studies etc 💜

How important is it and why don’t companies say what the ph of the shampoo is? Also hoping you will do a microneedling video refresher. Loved your video on the Ordinary last week but confused because you mentioned using several products after microneedling. I thought only growth factors and hyaluronic acid or is that specific to medical microneedling, not cosmetic (at home microneedling) ? Thanks as always for sharing your extensive beauty knowledge!

I saw the Tymo hair straightener comb , and I bought it , if you have a thick hair like mine , it breaks the hair from the middle , be careful , it’s really damaging , now I am in the mission of restoring and. Trimming my hair ,in order to regrow it , just beware of this advice , I did a return they were nice and did refund me ,

So sorry that happened to you-I’ve had the opposite. I find that it’s much less damaging than my other hot tools. Wishing you healthy hair soon!

Ok. My most awesome and recent Amazon find. I have very red, sensitive, reactive, rosacea-prone skin. Fair-light complected with a closet full of no-go’s. Ok: Beauty of Japan (brand) Glow Serum- Propolis + Niacinamide (product). I HAVE NO REDNESS, NO REACTION, JUST HAPPY SKIN!!!!!!! Miracle product for me 😍

Tymo straightener is the bomb! I love it. Fine frizzy, kinky hair.

Does not work with those who have more hair or coarser hair.

@@PENNSMITHSKINCARE tried to use on my 21 yo daughter, epic fail, she has a ton of hair and coarser than my fine thin hair. I absolutely LOVE this tool!!

I finally know a word you don’t! You so often produce 7-syllable chemical words that I’ve never heard of, and you sometimes lose me with all of your in-depth knowledge and understanding of all things skin. I am a Speech-Language Pathologist, which requires a Master’s degree, so I’m used to knowing more words than most people. Anyway, ameliorate is pronounced UH-MEE-LEE-OR-ATE. The syllable MEE is the most stressed syllable. You did pretty well with it! It means to make better. For example, “Your skin is looking damaged. Let’s see what we can do to ameliorate that problem.”
