I reside in Florida and have been looking to move north for the summer months. Definatly the prices on just building lots alone decrease as you travel north. If you had the address Zillow should have when it was built and for how much. Just need to scroll down into their history section. If you want to see if the home or land was purchased just to flip the price in the history makes it east to determine. Investors are getting real greedy. Seems these days Doubling what they paid seems to be the norm. The $840K they got for it seems like a great price even if not all of the 17 acres would be considered usable.

Sold for $400K in 2010. Under the $350K it states 5 bed 3 bath 1836 sq ft. Description shows 4 bed 2 1/2 bath with about double the square footage. Someone needs to proof read?

Appears Location determines the price. Place that same home and acreage in north west Ga or Caroilna mountains and you got a Million +. ??

Location is the issue. This place, while gorgeous, is also within 30 yards of a 4 lane highway...

Hard to believe the owners did not locate the home several acres back from where it currently is. Not all acreage has buildable locations on it, which could have been the issue also. Yes it costs more to bring in power and other utilities the farther back you go however that home was not cheap to build. @@adamwells715

$350K was probably what it sold for previously and probably a while ago. The original auction either never happened or it's reserve wasn't met. The sale price a couple months after was apparently $840k
