My favorite parts are the covered porch, floating shelves, stone accent walls throughout, heated floors, loft, detached garage, & the laundry room. Also, the powder room, tub, pantry, & raised sink. I think I just like everything about this place, except for the bar area.

It is nice. I really like the covered outdoor space and detached garage without the breezeway. I also would have went with sliding pocket doors as opposed to the inside barn doors. My opinion is that barn doors belong to a barn.

This is a beautiful home. I'm just not crazy about a TV so high over the fireplace. Also for me, not bring a drinker, I'd want no bar. I guess I'd want a media room and in the basement maybe a kitchenette or a dumb waiter to get stuff from the kitchen and maybe a small area for a fridge.

Overall nice house. But master suite seems disproportionally small comparing to living space. The master bath and closet are tiny. Kitchen appliances should have gone with subzero/wolf/cove package, which will add a lot of value to the house than the viking does.

Lots of great features, but laundry room: the W/D need to fit back into the space, so the space should be designed to accomodate that. One cannot easily reach the shelf above the W/D either. So much attention to detail throughout to have overlooked this.

The crackling of a wood fireplace is nice, but I would rather have a gas fireplace it generates more heat and you don’t have to keep stocking up on the wood

IMO, white walls are always a missed opportunity to pull some of the undertones from wood. The design choices in this interior look nice, but there is nevertheless a bit of sterility to it, in that even where there are natural materials, that offer organic textures, they are all heavily engineered and finished. I love the rebar. It’s nice, all in all, and would probably suit most people. But I prefer more risk with the design elements. There’s nothing here that you can’t find everywhere, in terms of the individual elements.

Beautiful house, however if the outside wood exposed to weather isn’t hardi plank or pvc I wouldn’t touch it. All wood, even pressure treated, eventually rots when exposed to weather. You’re looking at a lot of maintenance on the exposed outside wood on that house unless it’s hardi plank or pvc.
