When was a little kid, I always loved when the lottery came on. Very catchy music. I once asked my mom how the lottery song went in other states, and she said, "Well, I guess they say 'THE NE-EW JER-SEY LOT-TER-YYYY!'" Haha.

When I was a kid, I made up lyrics to the PA lottery song and sang it to my dad everytime the music came on. He always played the lottery and my song made him laugh. My lyrics went like this.... The Penn-syl-van-ia loooottery! You'll never win! You'll never win! You will always lose! The Penn-syl-van-ia looooottery!

I was only 3 when this drawing was done. This was normally my warning music to run to the TV for Jeopardy and Wheel of Fortune. This is massive nostalgia for me.

wow. i never thought i would find this classic lottery drawing anywhere else. i can remember as a child,my grandmother always tuned in to this drawing to see if her numbers were called,then switch the tv over to jeopardy or law and order. just the simplest things take you back in time to your childhood. i wish there were a time machine i could step into,and go back in time to my own childhood.i'm 3 years away from turning 30 and don't like it one bit!

My aunt used to play the lottery nonstop. She’d look at her ticket while watching this. The whole time, she’d cuss at the TV when she lost.

It's amazing how little has changed through the years...I find that somewhat comforting. The music, the arrangement, the technology/graphics, etc, are all basically the same. Heck even the two women in this video look like they could be two people on an ad from last night. If you had told me that this was from only a few years ago I would have believed it.

No offense pal but really? The coolest theme? Call me crazy but this theme is incredibly cheesy. If you like this one, I’m sure other states have some gems for you. Am I the only one who knows this is a backwards, poorly-run, stuck-in-1980 state?!?! wtf? I guess if you grow up here and never leave, you don’t understand that there’s a hell of a lot of interesting areas to see....some with much more friendly and welcoming people...peace to you all but really?!

I grew up listening to this tune. I find this tune very annoying to listen to. Even though I wasn't around when TIME TRIAL was used for the Lottery. I saw clips on youtube of Time Trial. I have to say it was more upbeat than this crappy and annoying tune.
