He also tells you what lures and baits he uses with these sets. Trap placement is as follows, Bobcats back 16" and for Fisher at the opening of the cubby, or right inside.

Twice in 30 years I caught an owl in my cubby set for fisher. The owls are after the mice that are stealing my bait at night. State law at the time said I had to toss the owl. I wasn't allowed to even carry it out. Laws change, and I wanted to have one mounted but was told I had to offer the finished mount to local educational institutions before I could keep it. No way! I used the wings for tell tales on my bobcat sets.

That’s cat collector is good stuff on cats and yotes good looking sets you got there he come out with his Federales solution now I made 10 pints but haven’t got to try it yet made it with beaver it smells identical to his Federales bait

I make these with heavy wood. Locklear calls them decade cubbies. They are deadly on cats here in the east. Since you mentioned his bait solution, I been wanting to try it. He takes a lot of pride in what he puts in bottles, and I use his stuff exclusively on my line. I usually use deer meat and my own twist on it. I made a video on my channel. It's simple and the cats and coyotes seem to like it. It's mild. Let me know what you thought of his bait solution. I bet it's killer

Melt Vaseline down then add your skunk essence to it. Then you can smear it on a tree beside the trap.you will catch those fishers.
