how prescient; avant guard is simply a trailblazing movement ;for example the avant guard of the 20's and then of course Arcade refers to the 60's and 70's ; I guess it is a moot point subjective until it's confirmed by historians, academics or arbiters from the media; one might argue the avant guard is elitist new movements flogging internet and virtual art.. and about commodification rather than ideas... but its subjective really

if you dont get why just look at the movies of the 30's onwards and look at the stories in history. It is a ponsi scheme if you have a career which starts in your 20's and ends before you are 40; welll what sort of world and what sort of compliant idiots have we become. If has become a dirty word to mature and to become a seasoned artist. Life is not so easy. Labels and quick attacks . There are no older womens voices in the Arts or in the media and I include the left wing and the right wing use their older women to both get and attract all the flack for the cock ups. She never said that. You're mixing things together. Her Facebook trans remarks had to do with some trans-responders who jumped to accuse someone as phobic/racist simply because they didn't agree with an expressed opinion. She never said or even alluded to trans people not feeling alienated.
