Girl, that's what a MPDR *is*. They're nuanced, complex, perceptive women. The manic pixie is what the male protagonist sees. An object to be used for a purpose: Enrichment, inspiration, decoration. A muse is a mpdg is a girl seen through the eyes of a sad hoodie boy. Women who try to tear down MPDG characters as pick-mes are just the newer generation of pick-mes. Your internalized misogyny is showing.
