Sheldon's character is unrealistic - the writers made him seem (to me) unreal, because he was a genius at EVERYTHING - that is unrealistic and would never ever happen in real life. It's actually quit annoying. Have you ever known in the history of the world anyone who was a genius at more than ONE thing? No. They don't exist.

The writers also made TONNES of mistakes with plot consistency - in the first episode(s) Leonard is ‘rejected’ by Penny, buys a cat, and says to Sheldon ‘I’ve taken your asthma into account’; next, Leonard, a physicist, guessing how many neutrinos are passing through him, says ‘3.9 times ten to the power eighteenTH (ie 1/18) when it is EIGHTEEN. And also, Raj sleeping with even ONE girl is ludicrous.

Since we are discussing what could have been, I would have like Stewart to have been a frustrated comic creator who had to start a comic book store to survive. All his friends rib him because his comics weren’t cool. In the last season Disney buys the rights to turn his comics into movies and all his friends say how they always liked his work and knew it’d be big one day. Also Zach was great in the series.

Leonard was really annoying and pushy in this one. Yes, it's jarring to find your girlfriend is already accidentally married and it is an issue that needs resolving as a priority, but he just constantly nagged her and whined to get it fixed there and then. Couldn't even wait one more day for Thanksgiving to be over first.

Agreed. Leonard might have patience and persistence, but personally I think so much of the burden and blame gets put on Penny for the issues in their relationship - Leonard’s insecurities over Penny’s past relationships with other guys, getting hit on or if he just even thinks she’s getting hit on, and here where she found out she’d married Zack; all are unbearable aspects of Leonard’s character and his and Penny’s relationship. His nagging and whining here was just as bad as when back in season 3, Leonard badgered Penny for not saying ‘I love you’ back to him after he said it to her. Did Leonard want her to say it because she meant it like he did or just to satirise his over-inflated ego?

@@Ospyro3em Yeah, biggest plot mistake of the show is that Penny and Leonard do not make a good couple. They are not compatible. The show forces them together cause "NERD GET PRETTY GIRL LOL" If anything, Sheldon and Amy's relationship is better. Amy comes out of her shell compared to when she was first introduced, and Sheldon begins to gradually learn empathy PROPERLY as a result of him genuinely wanting to make her happy.

When it comes to life partners, I think the luckiest 1. Penny, eventhough Amy is thr best partner in the whole show, Sheldon treats her way better than Amy did Leonard, so she is luckier than Sheldon. 2. Sheldon, of course, Amy is the sweetest. 3. Amy, Thanks to her, Sheldon developed as a person, also he was always honest, he grew with their relationship and treated her like the queen she is. 4. Howard and Bernadette, they are meant for each other. 5. Raj, being partnerless is better than having Penny as partner. 6. Unluckiest of all Leonard. Hands down!
