As info, the McGuire's in Pensacola is the original, which opened in 1977 and moved to its current location on Gregory in 1982. The one in Destin opened in 1996. Also, Pensacola Beach is not "in" Gulf Breeze. Gulf Breeze is in Santa Rosa County, Pensacola and Pensacola Beach are both in Escambia County. It's odd that you can't get to Pensacola Beach from Pensacola without leaving Escambia County, but that's the way the borders are drawn.

If you look at some IDs or maps they put you in gulf breeze but yes the beach is Escambia county mainly for money and taxes

Pcola is the less safe area compared to pcola beach. Ijs. Lol. Lived around these areas entire life. Just certain places you don't suggest to tourists unless you want them in bad areas... similar to Lovejoy in ft. Walton 🤣 The "boardwalk" in pcola beach is where we use to get in trouble messing with tourists as teens

I think there’s some great areas in pensacola. Area dependent. Pensacola obviously is a higher price point so you assume a different demographic and comparing the board walk to when you were a kid to now i think is a bit different depending on your age

Single dad moving to Pensacola. Or surrounding area. Daughter is 14 and I’m going to-be renting for a while at first. Where would you recommend safety wise and school wise?

Honestly is depends on what your are looking for. If schools arent important to you then there are some good neighborhoods

I actually do that with intent. I work areas I know and am knowledgeable about. If I’m not knowledgeable on an area or it’s not in my wheel house why would I talk about it. HOWEVER i don’t discriminate or shy away from helping all people, i give everyone the same service, even if it’s 10k land or 1million buyer or seller, everyone gets the same attention. The marketing or the conversation may be different but I don’t agree with your last two sentences.

There are 2 areas in pensacola the haves and the have not's. The Beulah area is growing fast with 6 to 8 new housing developments. The education level and IQ in general is well below average, restaurants focus a lot on seafood but who in the world can't boil a shrimp! As a traveler I have to say the Restaurant service in Pensacola has to be the worst. Last thing if you go to Joe Patty's for fresh seafood you better have 3 to 4 hours to wait! It's completely ridiculous? I have lived in Pensacola since 2004 but am looking to move soon. Oh God I forget the horrible traffic and disgusting roads. We have a beautiful new bridge if you can get through the (pot holes) man holes to get to it! The homeless on every corner and 100's living under the I-10 bridge! Now there is the real review.

+Ray Palmerino i think that’s an unfair assessment. I’ve actually had a lot of high level people move and live over there. Waiting for great food is anywhere that’s established and growing
