you probably know now that it was Wooseok you pointed out in the mv and just to add that he is one of the composers of this song (with Hui & Nathan). also about the mv, if you notice, each member has different colors/lighting which represents the different shades of petals mentioned in the ending "quote". they said that each of their scenes depicts different kinds of wound. for the lyrics, at the beginning it says "love is burning. everything is burning. memories are all burning." their title 'Daisy', wc is 대이지 pronounced as dae-i-ji, is actually a wordplay of the korean word for burning, 대이다 (dae-i-da) and can be worded as 대이지 (dae-i-ji) to emphasize an 'of course' feeling (of course, it burns). so Daisy or 대이지 here has two meanings: the flower and the love that burns. im really not good at explaining things so just in case you don't get what i said, here's a tweet that explains it twitter.com/changgurie/status/1313860705502683137?s=19 Kino shot the drowning scene for 5 hours and really almost drowned cos he couldn't hold his breath anymore. Yanan, their Chinese member, finally came back after a long hiatus. more trivia for the album: there are 6 songs in total but the last song is in the cd only so you have to buy the album to listen to it lol. it's entitled 'I'm Here' and was written and composed by their enlisted member, Jinho, without his co-members' knowledge. they only found out about it during their album preparation and just like us, they bought the album in order to hear it cos no matter how they persuade JH or the staff (?) to play it to them, they didn't give in 😂 also, wooseok participated in lyric writing for the 5 songs and co-composed 3 of them (Daisy, Nostalgia, You Like). all the songs in the album are written and composed by them (Kino, Hui, Wooseok, Jinho). also the album cover for the online releases is a painting of daisy made by Kino himself. yes! they're this great and lives by their name as "self-producing and all-rounder group". thank you so much for reacting to them and for appreciating the song! this is a MASTERPIECE 🌼

Look!!! Their comeback is so clever!! As a concept teaser they released an interview where they all individually shared their experience and hardships since debut. Then they were all giving their own colour in the concept pics and as you can see in the mv (blue hello red pink etc), all their emotions are represented as such. But when they all dance together the set is white, it’s all the emotions (and colours) blending together to create a new beginning and this is also at that moment that you see the flowers they holding and ultimately at the end for the chanting, a daisy blooming. This is basically exactly what the ending text says. It can be applied to a love story as well as to their own story as artists. It’s hard but they can’t let it go. Instead they’re building upon it and grow. Notice how they say geojimal (lies) and I hope you’re unhappy but then it turns to gajima (don’t go) I hope you’re happy in the end. And last detail, daisy written in Korean also means burning that’s a play on words. This song (and the whole album really) is really a glimpse into their soul that’s so so good Thanks for the reaction!!

actually, pentagon was using a wordplay here. Daisy in korean means "burned/burning" ..and i think that's genius react to the live version of Daisy too. you'll surely love it more. and check their performance too. today is their first music show comeback stage at mcountdown but they did perform at their online media showcase. check it out. the choreo is daebak

Since you mentioned wanting ti learn their names: Jinho: main vocal, currently in the military since the emotional goodbye stage on rtk :( hes the oldest but shortest member of pentagon and one of the shortest male kpop idols overall (only taller than woozi i think).. He used to be an SM trainee and actually debuted in SM the Ballad in 2010 so yea hes been training for a while... After leaving SM he became a vocal coach, before later being scouted by cube, and he gives vocal lessons to cube trainees and idols. The members describe him as the "rock" of the group since he istheir strongest emotional support.. His vocals are insanely good and his vocal range is crazy large.. He can hit soulful deep notes as well as super high notes.. To put it into perspective.. You thought huis basquiat high nite wwas high? Well hui actually said if jinho performed with them the two of them wouldve harmonized on the high note with jinho going EVEN HIGHER.. To get to know Jinhos voice better I would recommend checking out his Magazine Ho series where he posts monthly song covers.. Theyre all amazing!! My personal favorites are Lay Me Down and Gethsemane but i would recommend watching them all Hui: main vocal and leader, he used to be a JYP trainee and actually won first place in JYPs auditions in2010.. Hes the guy who starts off the song with the harmonizing and sings the first chorus, he is also the guy who did the 6 level high note in basquiat and hes a genius song producer and writer.. He has made all of pentagons title tracks since Like This (their 3rd comeback, 2017) and many of their side tracks, as well as songs for other groups such as WEi's Twilight, Bvndit's Dramatic, Wanna One's Energetic and Never and many many moreee.. He also rearranged all of their performances on rtk and has gone on many self producing shows such as The Call and Breakers.. Hes crazy and never sleeps but hes an absolute genius and we love him for it.. Unfortunately hes enlisting on the 4th of December :( Wooseok: main rapper, the guy u really like ahahaha hes the youngest but tallest member of pentagon and one of the tallest kpop idols overall (officially 188cm but they measured him at a fanmeet last year and he came out to 192cm)... He writes all of his own lyrics and most of yutos as well, as well as some for the group overall and for other groups, and has also produced some songs as well Hongseok: lead vocal, currently main vocal to make up for jinhos absence, he definitely would be a main vocal in any other group, but pentagon has jinho and hui too who are.. Insane to say the least in terms of vocal capability.. He sings the part right after wooseoks rap ("no mercyyy privacyyy") He used to be a YG trainee and was actually in Mix and Match and couldve debuted in ikon but he got eliminated.. He then left yg and went to cube to try once again and ended up in pentagon.. Heloves working out and is very proud of his abs and is the secretary of BMs big tiddie gang.. He has really soft honey vocals that are so pleasing to listen to.. I would recommend watching him (and hui and jinho and yeo one) on king of masked singer and also make sure to check out his song covers on cubes yourube channel

Kino: main dancer, sub vocal, center, he sings rhe part after hongseok at the beginning (blue hair), hes a very talented dancer and choreographer.. Some examples of stuff hes choreographed is Like This, Shine, Naughty Boy, ptgs Follow stage on RTK, and i think he mightve choreographed daisy and dr bebe too but im not entirely sure.. Its a bit difficult to find information on the gull extent of his choreographing since he doesnt talk about it a whole ton but he has participated in choreographing for almost all of ptgs comebacks and stages to at least some extent even if its just a little bit.. He also writes and produces songs.. Among pentagons songs, some songs by him are Off Road, Violet, and Skateboard and he has a lotttt nore songs released on his soundcloud (knnovation) and on cubes youtube channel.. The members are scared of him in the morning since hes very sensitive but they tease him a lot for his sensitivity and emotionalness... He cries a lot lmao and he also gets annoyed pretty quickly which is really funny to watch.. He also has a younger sister who hes really protective over which makes me soft.. In general he loves pentagon and universe so much and you can see it in his eyes whenever hes looking at them.. Everyone falls in love eith him ~eventually~ its just a matter of time sjfnfndk.. He also used to be a trainee at JYP and is close to Got7 (as well as like half the industry but thats a different topic.. If u go througj pentagons tiktok page u can see him doing the daisy challenge with like a million people and theyre all close friends with him) Yeo One: lead vocal, he has the part right after kino at the beginning, he also self produces and writes songs, but theyre mainly released on cubes youtube channel as solos instead of being official group songs... I would recommend watching them since it would introduce u better to his voice and his song style.. Just like hongseok, he would also be a main vocal in any other kpop group without hui and jinho in it 💀 he was in a few musicals over the past few years and also has experience as an actor.. He has the lamest sense of humor ever but we still love him for it adjfjjgkd hes a very genuine guy who always makes sure ur not skipping out on ur meals 💞💞 hes also begun working out abt a year or so ago and is getting pretty muscular so he might end up being added to the tiddie gang in the future as well who knows Yuto: main rapper, yuto is the other rapper aside from wooseok, and hes the first japanese rapper in kpop.. He writes many of pentagons japanese song lyrics and writes all of his own japanese raps.. He also has a soundcloud where he releases self made music... Hes friends with a japanese artist called Glay who made pentagons first japanese single, Cosmo, as a ggift fopentagon and yuto specifically, and pentagon also has a song with Glay in both japanese and korean... Yuto is also friends with Yuta from NCT and Yuto from onf so he was very excited when he first saw onf in rtk and now the two groups are all best friends with one another.. Yuto is a bit introverted around others but hes very giggly and weird around pentagon and honestly... Thats a mood.. Hes very clingy and loves giving hugs, especially to wooseok for some reason

Shinwon: sub vocal, he sings the "michil geot gata" part before both choruses. Unfortunately we dont have much recent content of Shinwons vocals that are recent :( but you can hear him quite well in pentagons side tracks and predebut performances... He also has some experience with song production, but again nothing recent.. On a vlive recently he was fooling around and singing songs and he sounded really good, plus he sounds great in the parts he currently has in pentagons music too so i hope we can get more chances to see him sing solo and to his full ability.. Hes done runway modeling before and is amazing at it, and is probably the most relatable and weird kpop idol of all time (idek how to describe... U just hav to stan them and find out for urself)... He has a very rockstar kinda voice which hui is jealous of so he gets a lot of the loud shouting parts in pentagons music (for example: naughty boy, round 2, alien).. Also hes like kinos emotional support pillar and the fact that kino trusts him so much and goes to him whenever he needs a hug just goes to show how great of a guy he is tbh.. In sha la la era kino actually direcrly thanked shinwon for being a person who is always on his side no matter what and described multiple incidents in which shinwon helped him, and in pentagons first win encore when kino began crying he immediately went to shinwon who helped him calm down.. I honestly dont think i trust any kpop idol for being a genuinely good person through and through as much as i trust shinwon Yanan: sub vocal, visual, he sings the part right after yuto and wooseoks joint rap, hes chinese and is nicknamed the shanghai prince.. honestly when pentagon first debuted i didnt know how good yanans vocals wrre since he rarely got lines, but ever since he went on cyzj i dont doubt him even the tiniest bit.. I would recommend cchecking out his stages on that show bc his vocals are so beautiful and powerful!! In fsct if you have time you should watch the entire show since it shows yanans personality really well, both in how he is with strangers and with close friends.. It also shows the song arrangement process that he went through for each stage which shows his talrnt as a song produced as well.. Yanan is generally very shy and doesntnhav high self confidence but the members of pentagon absolutely adore him.. Unfortunately he gets sick and is on hiatus a lot :( so far he has missed 4 comeback promotion periods and was also not in rtk either for this reason.. But hes back now so thats good! And hopefully hes here to stay this time ahahah anyways yanan and yuto are both the international members of pentagon and theyre both really funny without even tryingnonce theyre in their comfort zone 🤣

Some random facts: Yuto wooseok and kino make up pentagons maknae line and the three of them are born exactly 4 days apart from each other on the same year.. Yuto on jan 23rd, kino on the 27th, wooseok on the 31st Hongseok and jinho have the same birthday (april 17th) but different years Yutos iconic phrase before he begins rapping is Yutoda which means "its Yuto" in japanese All pentagon members can produce and write songs and have experience doing so, hui and kino are the ones most involved with the songmaking process but the other members also have contributions in that aspect on certain songs and stages Pentagon is having an online concert next week so you should buy your tickets!! Theyve been practicing a lot for it and have mentioned that its going to be incredible so itll definitelt be worth it!!!
