Not to mention all the information they found at the site matches up, and the intel that lead them to the site matches up. The mere fact he went to the lengths he did to avoid being detected such as pacing under the grape arbor and using a trusted AQ courier confirms it was him. It was no secret during the war that AQ was hiding along the Afghan Pakistan border in the tribal regions. Tho America has a good relationship with the Pakistanis, we’re not allowed to enter their country to perform military activities without their consent and ISI- Pakistan’s CIA equivalent- was notoriously pro AQ. Terrorist cells in Afghanistan would often fire upon and provoke American soldiers to entering Pakistan- further lending support to their cause in corrupting Pakistani officials.
