If you want to see the best “Matt song” and I know we are way past Christmas but he does the very low voice lead in You’re a Mean One Mr. Grinch. It’s so so good! Shows his funny personality. He is such a great fit for PTX!

Yes, definitely this! That was the one that won me over to him as Avi's... I don't want to say 'replacement,' because I think they were smart in NOT getting in someone who was just 'Avi 2.0,' since that was more than anyone could've lived up to. Their Grinch cover really showcases everything new that Matt brings to Pentatonix - he totally OWNS that one. And props to Scott too, for handling the bass throughout.

The best one to check out of Matt is You’re a Mean One Mr. Grinch. He leads the throughout the entire song and it really shows his personality. Super fun!

Love it! Absolutely check out their Sound of Silence, Matt is amazing in it! Also, you get a real surprise from my personal favorite Scott in that one and get to hear him take over the bass as he often does when bass is singing! He is the star of that one for me, but they all get showcased amazingly! 💙

I’ve been a fan since the Sing Off. And this is one is in my top 5 PTX songs. The arrangement, transitions, and vocals are stellar. And it’s FUN. Plus I’m old, so these songs have great memories of HS and college.

I love Pentatonix! I was a Pentaholic before I became a #HOG I love this new medley. I kinda fell off when Avi left but, have been slowly getting into them. I'm more of a Mitch fan. Mitch has an AMAZING voice! I love his styles he wears and he reminds me of myself at a younger age. I belted singing like him. I changed up looks on the daily. He just takes me back to my youth every time.

I agree you need to check out Sound of Silence. There is no doubt that their sound has changed, probably with their latest original album. Their music arranger has said they’re trying to get more radio play. I love the new sound but love the old too. Their medleys have always been 🔥

This medley is awesome, specially if you lived the 90s as teenager ;D Matt is a great bass. Maybe he can't go as low as others (like Tim Faust from Home Free) but his voice is very smooth and has a very nice color ("rounded", not "metallic") You can check the great recommendations below, as well as "Amazing Grace" or "New Rules x Are You That Somebody (Mashup)" See you in the next one

Did you know that Pentatonix sing in Japanese too with one of the most famous female vocal groups in Japan? You should check it out "Little Glee Monster feat. Matt, the new bass, has the lead for the first verse of their rendition of Amazing Grace. You may think you wouldn't care for that song but their version is really good. He also sings a whole verse in Sound of Silence. I've been a Pentaholic before we were called that. This and Michael Jackson Medley are my 2 favorite medleys. I consider the medleys different from the full songs.
