This is early Pentatonix. They started right out of school. Scott, Mitch and Kirstie went to school together. They wanted to compete on The Sing Off but needed 2 more so they found Avi and Kevin. All 5 are excellent. Perfection. Check out their Bohemian Rhapsody.

Interestingly, 2 of the songs here, back to back in fact - "Hey Ya!" and "Crazy" - were covered years later by Avi Kaplan. He did a folksy version of "Hey Ya!" under the name Avriel & The Sequoias shortly before leaving PTX ( kzbin.info/www/bejne/rZmlgnahnauqj8k ), and then a few years later, in 2019, did "Crazy" with ReSound in a stairwell during Avi's A Cappella Academy summer program ( kzbin.info/www/bejne/qoO3eX9na9edbpI ). That's what's called a "couch session". They all park themselves on a couch or a couple of chairs and blow through it in one take. Most of their "evolution of...." videos are "couch sessions". They're also a lot of fun, and full of great Mitch-slaps. Check out "Gold" (Kiiara cover) and "No" (Meghan Trainor cover) for some Mitch-slap couch sessions.

You gotta react to Sing and Can’t sleep love and Cracked. I believe they’re all originals. The beat alone of Sing and Cracked are the best dance music ever (they kinda remind me of cheerleader, as far as the vibe) and they are all perfection. My boys are so tired of me playing them all on repeat. I literally just stopped long enough to watch your PTX playlist end then I’m going back to it. Lol.

Great reaction! And yes, that was a superb Mitch-face. 🤭 Check out their Bohemian Rhapsody rendition for the full experience. Or for something Mitch only: his recent cover of Billie Eilish's Your Power on his own youtube channel. Most of their earliest videos are all one-takes too. The sound quality isn't always the best, but nonetheless worth checking out. Other than that, I agree with Lyambren's recommendations.
