You guys are having the same amount of fun as I did every time I heard a new PTX song. Some perfect songs for Mitch-slapping are Gold, Someone That I Used to Know, and Carol of the Bells. Problem, and Can’t Hold Us are songs where you can hear him rapping some cold bars. Pentaholix will always tell you to just pick one, and we will come. A great Christmas song for the wall of sound, is Where Are You Christmas, and a good Kirstie joint is the Seasons of Love from a PBS special. So much good music! Have more fun

@marriagefordummies If you don't know the original Gold by Kiiara, listen to the first verse before the PTX version. What took about 3 computers working 24/7 for a week to do her voice, Mitch does naturally. But you have to know the original to understand just what he is doing a ccepella

When Ptx sings five part harmony, like at the end here, it always makes me cry - just for the sheer beauty and the joy it brings to my heart. Ptx has this emotional affect on many of us. I am sure that God put these 5 people together, & guided their careers to such a huge place just to bring joy into the hearts of so many. Just so you know, they are all humble & loving human beings. I love them all like they were my own children. (I am 63) That's another thing - their music appeals to all ages. At the concerts I've been to I have seen people much older than me, all the way down to young children. I am really loving your Prx reactions! Btw, I was waiting for that Mitch slap! Lol!! I have been thoroughly enjoying your PTX reactions and the enthusiasm you show. Given your faith, I would suggest a couple of artists that you have probably never heard. Morissette Amon from the Philppines and Sohyang from South Korea. Both are devout Christians and are probably two of the best female vocalists in the world right now. While both do pop songs, they also do many spiritual songs as well, both covers and originals. On the pop side I would recommend 'Rise Up' by Morissette and 'Bridge Over Troubled Waters' by Sohyang (Immortal Songs 2 version) as an introduction to their prowess. For the spiritual side check out Morissette's 'Could You Be Messiah' and Sohyang's 'You Raise Me Up' as starters. If you choose to delve into their cataqlogs I would gladly provide more reommendations from their extensive catalogs.

The play is the Wizard of Oz told from the perspective of the witches. In this song one witch Elphaba (strange name I know) is arguing with Glenda about learning how to be the first witch to fly on a broom. (the name Defying Gravity makes sense now).
