​@@notposool5179 probably since they are more known than cosmo and that probably comes down to preference the one thing that it is objectively better in though is intelligibility not to say the original is unintelligible that is just more I myself prefer the original one it has a more raw feel

@@notposool5179 i think it just depends on if you like a more... sterilized.. processed feel to it, it's like sirens compared to an impish woodland fae attempting to lead you deeper into the wood, sirens have sung this song millions of times to different sailors while the woodland imp would change the lyrics or make up new toons as he feels

Absolutely! The lyrics mention the "borogoves" (actually they sing "borogRoves" -- is that their mistake or Sheldrake's?) and the "slithy loves," creatures mentioned in "Jabberwocky," which appears in the second "Alice" book, Through the Looking-Glass. They also start out with a mention of "Heffalumps," which is from Winnie the Pooh.

Here's the iPhone X ad that made this song better known (it's the original recording by Cosmo Sheldrake). kzbin.info/www/bejne/mmmve4uZhs13Zs0 I had seen this ad a couple of times, but the music didn't make much of an impression on me (the ad, after all, was touting the new display from the iPhone, not its sound quality). It wasn't until I heard the PTX cover and went looking for the Apple ad that I remembered it.
