Really? I see it as pretty equal as far as Mitch and Scott love from fans. I think Kevin and Kirstin are 1. Taken for granted in Kevin's case and, 2. Totally undervalued by the majority of fans in Kirstin's case. Those harmonies that we are so in love with would not be so amazing without Kirstie. She and Mitch blend so well together I can't pick them apart! A lot of fans think Mitch is singing the high notes in these harmonies, but he's not. He reminded us that he is the group's tenor and Kirstin is their Soprano. When she did her solo projects there were no reactors reacting to them, and no fans asking for reactions. I love Kirstin and she is one crucial part of " The Trio". She has finally overcome her negative self image (Did WE contribute to that in part? I hope not!) and singing and dancing like she owns that stage! Even a run popped up in one of her solos! She can emote like nobody's business (see "Hallelujah" and "Say Something"), and she's so much fun! Her playfulness has been a great part of our experiences viewing PTX as just themselves! She's always up for a good session of goofiness.. usually inspired by Scott. I love Kirstin, and we should treat her better. Kevin is SO talented that I think we just assume he's doing amazing things abd focus on the 3 main singers. We just pass him over. I loved that he FINALLY got fan recognition near the end of tour. He was seated with his cello and about to begin but the crowd went wild! I LOVE THE FANS IN THAT CROWD! He looked both grateful for and embarrassed by the attention and he had to put his finger to his lips in a "shhhh" motion while still grinning! It's the first time since The Sing-Off that I have seen Kevin receive recognition and love from fans during a concert for his solo performances. PTX couldn't survive without Kevin, Kirstin, and Matt. What we have left is Superfruit and as good as they sound together they are not acapella and they aren't even putting out new episodes on their Channel.

@@mecfstraveler I think the unique voice of Mitch and the low tone of Avi always get a lot of fans, Scott has his fans, but not as much as Mitch, I hear a lot of people said that Kevin is great, Kirstin always have been my favorite (but a Love ALL of them), I love her voice and what she bring to the table, if you watch Home Free and Voice Play they are all men, Ptx is the only one with a woman, and she is amaizing, fun, she put the perfect emotion to the song, from Sing, to Hallelujah or Amizing grace, to the sad ones Say Something or Shallow, she is an actress what she did in My favorite things, I love her, but I know that every member on Ptx is very important, And of course the one that get the least recognition is Matt, and he has to fight with a lot of Avi fans that never give him a chance.

Yes! "New Rules" is next! I wouldn't trade Scott for anything! He's got an extremely unique voice and he's got a lot of soul and can put that little bit of grit in it. I just love him! And yes I'm a Mitch fan. But I would not ever be able to replace Scott and his vocals! He is a beast and you can always depend on him to be a beast! Since Kirsten did her run on Broadway she has become far more confident and it really shows! They're working on choreography for the first time ever speaking of real dancing during their numbers. And they are really learning how to dance! Tour starts any day and I think they're ready!

I agree with you about his recognition. Mitch gets so much love, and he’s great, but Scott and Kirsty are amazing too. It’s so amazing to me that three such talented people grew up together. 😳

I know I was one of the MANY that requested Cracked Live one of your previous reaction videos. I typically comment requests when a requestor makes a specific note/comment about something they like and likely this was in regards to Scott. This performance features ALL his the things that make scott so AMAZING: riffs/runs/passion plus it's a great live video *AND* an original song! THANK YOU!! This is why you've become one of my favourite reactors because you actually focus on ALL OF THEM. Like you said most reactors just point out Mitch and loves Mitch and just overlooks Scott. Maybe because he's the lead a lot of the time? I really don't know why more people aren't as impressed by him because he might have the biggest range out of all of them. He's actually stepped in as bass a few times (like in Hallelujah when Avi sings). I just love his voice 😍 Definitely react to Scott's riffs and runs but please react to his vocal range! It's huge!

I absolutely agree! I really love Scotts vocals, but when I watch other reactors, they usually don't really notice which is kinda sad... And Scotts range is insane! I was so surprised when I first heard his really high notes!

One of the very best things about Pentatonix is their precision. That comes not only from practice, but I think it’s almost a sibling thing. Familial groups are able to almost feel the same rhythms, cutoffs, harmonies, etc. Even though they aren’t related, the trio grew up singing together and it really shows in their harmonies and arrangements.

I adore Scott's voice so much, Cracked is my favorite on the Pentatonix originals album and I always sing along with the songs but always stop just before Scott's riff in Cracked because it's just so damn awesome!

Another great reaction! That's why I was one of the first people to subscribe. I seldom post a comment but I'm glad to here that you watch all the other reactors of PTX too! I too am a Stan for Scott. I think he doesn't get enough love from our fellow Pentaholics. I also want to remind you to watch all of Superfruits videos from the their recent "Future Friends" album. You'll see that Scott and Mitch have a "Perfect" Harmonic blend. Can't wait to see your reactions to those.

They performed "Attention" live on Good Morning America last week, and it sounded really good on my TV. The uploaded videos I've seen of it didn't have as good of sound quality, Matt and Kevin were kind of push down and back behind the vocals (which happens a lot when they do a TV guest appearance and it's not a music related television program) . on the 4th of July they performed on the annual "A Capitol Fourth" on PBS. It's outdoors in the area of capital . It's on the capitol lawn , the Lincoln Memorial Etc you get the picture . Mind you the lineup of musicians it was star-studded and iconic. The Beach Boys and The Temptations were there just to give you an idea of the caliber of the other musicians slated to perform. Pentatonix was the opening number for this outdoor event , and they are standing on a small stage that is nearly ground level in the middle of a gigantic crowd in Washington DC near one of the big monuments . John Stamos makes the shows opening and then announces them as "three-time grammy-winning, multiple platinum-selling recording artists PENTATONIX!" And they start performing" Sing! ". A few lines into the song... Scott's mic went dead. 😑 But like the professionals they are they kept right on singing, including Scott! Then his Mic began fading in and out and he was spot on where he should be in the song with his vocals every time it came back in! Oh my gosh! I'd have died of embarrassment. But everybody was in good voice and I got to hear Mitch and Kirstin's parts really well! 😊

Great reaction! Yeah, that scale they did in the middle of Attention - I had to go back and listen to that a few times, it is so beautiful. Any videos by PTX on I Heart Radio are really good. Their stage manager really knows how to balance the mics. My favorite IHR video is PTX Can't Sleep Love.

Each member of PTX is a phenomenon seriously I mean Kevin is the most talented as far as being able to do many different things and languages and im not even smart enough to list them all, but he is an amazing human being and also often overlooked despite ptx not being ptx without him. scott Kirstie and mitch are all just beyond talented and also very interesting people to boot. some artists have talent but no personality and I think we all fell in love with the group because of their talent and their personalities.

Cracked was my favorite track from the Pentatonix album, yes, original and I wish there had been an official video for it. Love Attention too, my favorite from Top Pop. Good choices! I think Attention shows how different Matt is from Avi, and how well he is working out! Terrific!

well so many people speculate that the person kirstie is really singing to in this video is her ex fiance. they were supposed to get married last november and very very shortly before that we found out on twitter that they called it quits. and that video dropped in march and they had to have filmed it a month or two in advance (kirstie was on broadway in kinky boots at that time) so it wasnt but maybe 3 months after they called it quits. the more you know.. :/

PTX just announced that PTXperience is coming back for this tour! WOOOOHOOO! Tour starts TODAY! Jorod, you ever want to see what they are doing as real people on tour PTXperience in 2014 (available on PTXvlogs on KZbin) can was a series of moments during tour that showed us them as real people! We see arranging a song, eating, playing, everything! And they experience new things just like we do, with joy and shock that it's happening for them! ❤️ In 2015 they did a documentary about that tour called "On My Way Home" and it's available on Netflix. You see them meet Mario José and put him on stage in front of a packed auditorium (with no forewarning) to open for them! It's great to see who they are.. and it's fun. But PTXperience is back! And it's Matt's first big tour as an official member if PTX! He's barely 23 now, and about the age Scott, Mitch and Kirstin were on their 2014 tour in the 1st PTXperience in 2014! He's gonna be so excited and grateful! 🤗😄

scott's solo covers are really good too! :) they hit their groove/sweetspot in Attention. also Scott shows what he learned in the Singoff, how to hold back to make it sound better. :D Kirstie needs to just blast her voice more(almost always in the background)

There is a video of a 2012 live performance at a PTX concert in Boston called "PENTATONIX -Nature Boy/Baaddest Girl". They start with Nat King Cole and follow with the a PTX original baddest girl (written by Scott ). Showcases Kevin Mitch and Scott nicely. Has not that may views but I really like it. You can also look for todrick hall surprising and singing to Scott for his birthday at this same concert in another video - no need to react to it but it's nice.

Their original songs are so good but they didn't get air play. It's like most of Radio sees a capella as this little nitch but that's not true for PTX. The rest think PTX is just a KZbin cover band.
