My absolute favorite part of this is Shawn rushing the stage at the end. The look of surprise and delight on Mitch's face is priceless. Shawn had to be their judge for the whole time they were competing. Now he gets to be just a fan, and it's great.

It's like watching Michael Jordon do an exhibition at a high-school basketball game. PTX is just so professional and polished it's like they're from a different planet. I loved the contrast. in a way, it's kind of an encouragement to the competitors of that year to aspire to be able to perform one day with that level of skill and confidence.

This was for a long while my favourite performance from them. They were so on point and looked great and confident. Avi is hard to resist on this one.

Loved your reaction. Yes, they appear so much more comfortable and energetic than they did during the Sing-Off. The emotional toll of waiting to find out if you were still in it every week would be crushing. I saw you loved Avi doing a solo at the end - he never got to do that during the show, so that was very special. And his dance moves - woohoo! In one of their early videos "Radioactive", Avi pulls out the moves there, too.

They had two years of polishing their stuff and gaining confidence from touring. I wish they could take the sound engineers from the Sing Off with them to all their live performances (TV spots, etc).

I'm a Pentaholic Home Fry lol I first discovered Home Free thanks to Avi's collab on Ring of Fire music video just after the Sing Off season 4 as I was already a huge Pentaholic and had been through ptx's journey on season 3 like you I went back and watched Home Free's journey and now I love both groups.

The thing about Home Free is that, in my opinion they borrowed or were "inspired" by Pentatonix a lot, so it's hard for me to appreciate them as an individual group. They carved a niche for themselves in the country market (very smart of them), but the layering, the tricks were all done by PTX first. I'm a Pentaholic not only because of their voices, blend and gut busting ranges, but also because of their originality and bravado in their arranging. Before I heard PTX, I never knew a capella could sound that way. Conversely, as soon as I heard Home Free, my thought was, "oh look, they're doing Pentatonix' like arrangements only countrified".

Exactly what I thought. And they don't do it as well as PTX either. In my opinion, they don't even come close to PTX's level whatsoever, in terms of singing, arrangements, tricks, etc. To me every time I hear Home Free all I hear is 5 mediocre singers. Sorry not sorry.

Homefree's arrangements and harmonies were always tight. Yes they and PTX were friends particularly Avi and Tim. See Homefree's Ring of Fire ft. Avi Kaplan. Their business plan did follow PTX's why reinvent when someone just figured out the formula? They don't compete exactly, different genres. Pop music is more popular than country traditionally. I see no need to knock Homefree at all and want everyone to understand that the a cappella community is very supportive of each other. Perhaps we should do the same.

Yes...u are right...they were young...now they are so professional...and i cried for this because they came to this stage after won the competition...it was cool...i feel like this...how they could have felt...loved ur reaction...its not little pentaholic..😀😁....definitely u r a pentaholic...we will naturally fall in love with them...they have a unique grace on them...Am pentaholic...i watch all their funny videos, jamming singing, all members funny moments, live shows...u recommend to u also...slowing u can do it along with other reactions...❤❤❤❤

Kirstin and Mitch change their hair color and or style quite often. It's how I can tell the year a performance, official video, or a random video took place, especially with Mitch. I used to get all discombobulated by it but now I just chill and wait for the next one, knowing it's coming #SOON (there's s story behind that dreaded, agony-inducing hashtag) I REALLY think that you would enjoy seeing Scott, Mitch and Kirstin being the friends they were all those years prior to the Sing-Off in Superfruit's "Frozen" Medley! It's post "The Sing-Off", and it's The Trio putting on a brief musical and having so much fun as friends! Mitch takes his vocals up a notch as well and they have the most hysterical bloopers after Superfruit's ending screen flash! On this performance the bloopers are a must-see so be sure to wait for them. 😊 Thank you for the very nice trip through some of my favorite memories! I love the way you're doing this!

Now you know why I (and others) couldn't wait to see your reaction to this because I (we) knew it was going to blow your mind. And what is even more mind blowing is how much they have continued to improve after this. Also, I agree that Shawn has to be the original Pentaholic. And you finally were able to see what Avi can do. He has such a great voice and it doesn't get used as much as it should although all of them have their moments during most of their performances. Now you absolutely have to watch Home Free's version of "Ring of Fire" featuring Avi. Way better than their Sing Off version.

Home Free has a cleaner style where things all seem to be perfectly placed. Pentatonix always felt like wizards harnessing musical chaos where surprises came out of left field all the time. Most acapella bands have to make a goofy production of their shows where it's half comedy act. But Pentatonix never did, the surprises in their shows came from their music, allowing them to be taken seriously as actual musicians by the mainstream. Like if Home Free were to mess up in a song, it becomes a huge comedy act where everyone's laughing and joking the rest of the song. Pentatonix messes up, cover for each other, continue the song seriously like professionals, and then laugh about it on twitter later. Home Free, in some ways, is a better acapella act, but Pentatonix were simply better musicians.

REACTING TO PENTATODRIX Before you watch their reaction to toddrick you have to listen to PTX with Save the world tonight and deft punk then you will enjoy toddrick to the fullest.
