I didn't see the headphones in the video, so I'm really glad you watched this with them. There is a lot that they are doing that doesn't come across on computer speakers. These are the 5 original members of the group. They became a group in 2011, and until late 2017 toured and did albums and TV shows, collecting 3 grammys. Then Avi left to limit the time away from his family, and to do his own music. The new bass singer, Matt Salee, joined them, and is in all their videos for the last three years. Many of us were sad when Avi left, we had grown to love his personality and his beautiful voice, but Matt is also a great singer, and a lot of fun, too. In addition to tours and albums, most of them also have solo albums made or in progress. Scott & Mitch also have a separate group called Superfruit, which started as a weekly blog, and then they began putting out their own YT music videos and an album. Looking forward to many more reactions!

Pretty sure that was me that you were talking about on the headphone suggestion. They really take it to a whole new level, especially Avi's (bearded brunette, bass) and Kevin's (beatboxer, tenor) work that just gets lost on phone/laptop/PC speakers. I am sure it will come up, but please wait to react to 'Imagine' until you do have the headphones. If you think this one had you shook, even at 56 and after hearing it 100+ times I still shed a few tears. But, they are the good type because it is sooooo moving.

Some things that gets confusing for some people: when avi or Matt (the different basses) take a solo, usually scott (the tall baritone) will cover bass. Avi is classically trained and studied opera, and Kevin, the beatboxer is barely freaking human. (Insane beatboxing, plays cello, saxophone, piano, speaks mandarin and Spanish, and went to Yale, probably something else too)
