♥ The set/wardrobe represents the elements. Matt & Kevin are Earth, Mitch is wind, Scott is Water (hence the Naval uniform), Kirstie is fire (note the ash in the air), and Lindsey is magic.

Maybe it's because she's a beautiful, talented lady who is dancing ballet while playing a violin. Seems crushworthy to me.

Saw a commenter say that this is the perfect song if your grandmother is a former sailor, Celtic witch who lives in a deep forest. I think Matt is earth element that seems to be more forest like because you see leaves and flowers in his shots. With Kevin you see dirt flying because his beats make the ground shake. Lindsey is magic or fae because she just is.

I dont get sick of you saying how simple their vids are, that's a good thing. I love that they don't use a lot of technical elements/cinematography, it allows the viewer to focus on their vocals. But I also love that usually they stay true to the artist when covering songs, like Bohemian Rhapsody, using earth elements in this vid, using their platform in Imagine to share a message, they and their vid producer/director are awesome!

I read somebody recently describe Lindsey Stirling as an Olympic Violinist. I would have to agree, but also add some form of the word ‘Gymnastic’ to that description. How she does what she does and makes it look so effortless is beyond me. But the music makes me feel the movement, and I’ve been in a wheelchair for two years.

Oh I love that you explained why Pentatonix is so special. It’s how much they give back to their fans. The Pentaholic. Also they have Instagram accounts and Scott, Kevin and Kristen post and they make the best tictocks. The Christmas season they have a tic rock where they duet with fans. You should check it out. They are so creative. Thanks for the reaction Fable. I always love them.

I think that maybe they make adults WANT to believe in Santa. The next holiday season, start looking further into their Christmas music. They have ALOT of it. In fact there is an animated video where Matt asks, as the new guy, just how much Christmas music HAVE you done? Kevin answers most of it. Mitch answers ALL OF IT. Anyway they do a simply amazing job, taking songs that EVERYONE knows and turn it into a song people WANT to hear. I could recommend ALOT of them. But it's only September. Love your PTX reactions. Every one of them. Please oh please continue your journey. But beware it's one DEEP rabbit hole. They made it to where they are by making KZbin videos. Without record label money. So, there are ALOT of them and I think they still put them out as a tribute to their fanbase. Plus bunches of us can't afford to see them live. Sorry I slipped into a PTX rant. You take care and be safe. Hope and joy to you and your family. Pass it on. =^;^=

Great video and I'm loving the Celtic vibes from this version, something I've not heard before. The slow motion takes in the video were fantastic, just in the right spots to go with the flow of the music they are making! Thanks for the reaction Fil! OK, I'm confused. I went to examine your Pentatonix playlist and couldn't find one. I found about a hundred playlists with only one video each (which is a waste of a playlist) but ...? And I KNOW you've been reacting to them for a while now because I've watched most of them. There is a collection of their videos that I wanted to see if you'd already seen them before I recommended them, but that's hard to do when I can't figure out what you've already seen. As for this particular video - it's brilliant, isn't it? This song is an old children's ditty that they've taken and made downright explosive. SOOO different. So gorgeous. Also, I'm delighted that they are becoming more comfortable stepping out of the "all a capella all the time" cage - because while I do think they are the best a capella group out there, they also can do amazing things when they add instruments to enhance the piece. Even when they add instruments, they are STILL predominantly surrounding you with their voices, so I'm not bothered at all when I hear a piano or strings or whatever they choose to add. The best music they can make has always been their priority, and man, do they fulfill that goal.

Hey Fable... great review and great fun. Always a Pentatonix fan. I wanted to let you know a little more about Lindsey Stirling, although you are probably aware of it. She has her own channel, numerous albums released, and has been featured with a number of artists playing along with them. She also studied dance, and to be a ballerina I believe once. She was also on AGT, but was voted off (because she danced too much!!!)... she did go a little ways though. Two songs are suggested below: Here are two videos that I'd love for you to review - pick one if you wish. kzbin.info/www/bejne/jJjdhZmar8-SftE Titled: Lindsey Stirling - Guardian (which is on her KZbin channel, Lindsey Stirling) Featuring just her playing, in some beautiful surroundings. Notice, she can't stand still for a moment. To me it's like Heaven reached down and touched the earth through her. She's really angelic in her movements, and plays like a dream. Or another video where she again has a beautiful artist play piano and sing... this song is special, it's dedicated to her father who lost his battle to cancer in 2017. You want to see the video on this, not so much the live postings - simply because it's so beautiful. kzbin.info/www/bejne/gHbIqXyde9CAoKs Titled: Lindsey Stirling - Lose You Now (feat. Mako) Keep some tissues close. Seriously. Sorry for this long post man, but it is holiday time, and memories are flowing like wine. I could live off just listening to Pentatonix, and Liindsey - together, or separate (oh, and of course Angelina Jordan who you reviewed ... and, closing with this song - Pentatonix & Lindsey Stirling - older still, but fantastic! What the heck... 8 years ago, and only 191,098,506 views. Young Pentatonix, with AVI as well!!! kzbin.info/www/bejne/l3aVeHaXYsShr7c Radioactive - Lindsey Stirling and Pentatonix (Imagine Dragons Cover) Merry Christmas everyone.
