Great reaction! One thing, among many, that I like about this is, in the beginning, you get to hear what the trio sounds like without Avi/Matt. When Avi does that first drop, you can't help but start dancing in your chair. And Avi is so gorgeous as a medieval prince!

They were in the middle of the European leg of their world tour when the pandemic hit and they had to go back home to the US rather quickly. When everything is over they’ll be coming back and, yes, they WILL come to the UK. I have a ticket to see them at the Eventim Apollo here in London, they’ve promised that all concerts they had to abandon all over Europe, they will honour the tickets for when they come back, so keep you eyes peeled, Kass, you’ll get your chance!

Catherine Vincent they never even got a chance to start the European leg of tour. It was cancelled (postponed) just days before their scheduled flights. It looks like concerts won’t resume until at least 2021

A long time ago when the first reactions to "Royals" came out, a lot of reactors and commenters said that Avi couldn't be heard at all. That's the first time I remember a bunch of Pentaholics screaming, "PUT ON HEADPHONES!!!" I don't understand why, but I'm watching your reaction with my usual headphones, and I can barely hear Avi. It's still a great song, but it sounds so empty, especially when he first comes in at 1:40. Please see if you can figure out why this happened. You're hearing only 4/5 of Pentatonix.

@@kiksipixie I don't know how KZbin works--how we get the video and audio that we see, and why a reactor's wearing headphones or not should affect what WE hear. Usually, even if the reactor is NOT wearing headphones, I can hear Avi's bass through MY headphones. On this particular video, though, I can't.

I love these guys. They seem to get better every time I see them. Before I forget you need to check out KZ Tandingan's version of this song. She has enough energy to power a medium-sized city. I forget all the time too. Their sound is so full and complete that you don't miss anything. I binge on these guys a lot so when I go away from them I'm full from them. Then when I watch them again I realize how empty I am. I am in Love with Kirstin. I've watched some videos of her work apart from the group and she is a tremendous vocalist, the fact that she is drop-dead gorgeous does not enter into the equation at all. There are times when I think they cannot pull a song off, and as usual I'm wrong. There doesn't seem to be a performance they can't do. So onward and upward, no limits.

There's a song "Light in the Hallway " that Scott wrote , but wanted Avi to sing it because he felt it suited Avi better . They always know how to make a song at his best !! If you want to listen to "Royals" with a totally different vibe , you should react to "KZ Tandingan" on ( singer 2018 ), I think you will love that one as well !

And to think, they hadn't even won their first Grammy yet when this was released, and as Mitch said at the end, they were about to go on their first European tour. Missed you. I’m loving your reactions so much but I feel so bad that you are missing so much of the performances. Laptop speakers are not up to listening to music, especially A Cappella music. You would really hear so much more of what is going on with headphones or even earphones. Don’t worry this tour was in 2013. They are bound to reschedule their missed Europe dates from 2020 after the Pandemic is over.

Yay! You're back! :) Great to see you. I did miss you. I got so excited when I saw that you uploaded :D. Anyway, there is going to be a European tour leg. I believe there were actually tickets left for some of the UK shows before the pandemic hit, so when they reschedule, I'm sure you're gonna have a chance. I was supposed to see them in Linz, Vienna and Prague. Sigh. I was relieved when they post-poned though, because it was getting pretty stressful for everyone and I was a bit worried. I can't wait for them to come when it's safe though.

Hey! I have some requests? It’s okay if you don’t want to react to them because most don’t want to react to anything else but music. But I like knowing the members of ptx behind the singing voices. And they are all actually really funny people. So I suggest watching for Superfruit: -Basically all there vlogs are funny! A few select ones are: -The freestyle rap challenge (kinda musically and super funny) -the yoga challenge (hilarious) -The boyfriend tag (you can really see Scott and Mitch’s chemistry) And if you want to watch not only Mitch and Scott but the other members as well: -Ptx funny moments (there is like 5 or 6 of them and it kills me) -Ptx jamming/singing on the fly (musically and really shows off there talents) -Ptx messing up (the video that shows they’re actually human and makes mistakes) It’s alright if you don’t want to react to any of these but you seem to like Ptx enough to might want to watch the extra stuff too. I would watch all the videos you put out about them! If not I will still watch all Ptx, Superfruit videos. Now I’m surprised if you read this far but if you just want to react to music stuff try there sing off performances. It’s musically and you get to know more about them so it’s a win-win! If not that’s okay too ☺️
