Pentatonix "Show You How To Love" Live In-Studio

Pentatonix came by the studios at 104.3 MYfm to give a live performance of "Show You How To Love," an original song from their debut EP "PTX Volume 1" in stores and on i-Tunes now.

It's interesting because he belts the first two and is shaky with the second, so I think he was struggling to get the note that day - I actually love seeing the (rare) flaws when PTX sing

I disagree. They were in a studio. he's trying not to belt it out due to the fact that it will echo back. That sounds tacky if you ever heard anyone do that. Acoustics can be the best they can and you can still get an echo. Ugly faces to reach high notes are entertaining so don't be fooled by that

As you notice when Mitch has the chest voice break at first chorus he instantly switch into hv or falsetto at the next "Let me show you hoowww to looooveee" that was geniusss

Listen to the album version to hear how MYfm "should" have balanced their mics. The balance in this performance works, but it leaves Mitch too exposed and doesn't allow you to hear the intricacies of the harmony as well as the arrangement probably intended. By the way, I FREAKING LOVE THIS SONG. Good job, PTX. This is a fantastic original, and I've been playing this catchy song over and over for months now. A club song with musicality -- and yet so accessible! Congrats, guys.
