Kevin beatboxes through their entire live concerts. Though there are breaks, it is still phenomenal. In many songs he also has numerous background singing portions, so he is a living, breathing music machine

They're all involved in writing, arranging and producing of their work. I know in the past it was usually Scott, Kevin and Avi who took the lead on arrangements (along with Ben Bram of course), and I suspect that it's still Scott, Kevin and Ben who leads that aspect most of the time. As for the writing it seems pretty balanced these days - we'll know more when the new album (Lucky Ones) is released in February. We know Kirstin wrote this one and Scott, Kevin and Kirstin wrote Happy Now.

To judge Kevin's ability to maintain his beat boxing, watch their Evolution videos. They are one-shot, live videos, and at least one is over 6 minutes. Kevin beat boxes throughout its entirety.
@janices53894 жыл бұрын
Not to mention he beat-boxes for most all songs on their tours, getting a break only between songs, and the rare song like Run to You or Imagine where there is no beat-boxing and he is singing instead.

they released this as part of their announcement of their second ever original album coming feburary of next year which has been a long time coming and is very exciting! kevin is supremely underrated when it comes to his musical creativity. there aren't many pentatonix arragments and writing that he isn't involved in, any that i can think of. you should check out some of his solo stuff to see all that he can do. his cover of down is my personal favorite, but you honestly can't go wrong. also, if you want more kirstie leads. water and rather be are great. she also has a whole solo ep which was impressive.

Thanks a bunch for these videos! Been on a binge watching them, and Pentatonix is easily one of my favorite groups. If you’re looking for new music I’d love if you reacted to a guy named Aesop Rock. He is known statistically as the rapper with the widest, most diverse vocabulary, and has a couple decades worth of songs out. I recommend starting with either “Rings” or “None Shall Pass.” You’ll also probably want to have lyrics ready as well. Thanks again for your reactions!!

He beat boxes for a two hour show, so at least two hours. No doubt longer. They were definitely photoshopped. They were short separately. The creativity belongs to Ben Bram (their arranger) and Kirstin for this one. She wrote the song.
@larrywt6564 жыл бұрын
Actually, Photoshop is a photography term and not a video term. But I get what you're saying and you are correct. This was shot in the middle of the pandemic and none of them were in the studio at the same time. You mentioning creativity, Kirstie actually wrote this song. Most of their originals are co-written by Scott, Mitch and, believe it or not Kevin, with Kirstie also joining in sometimes. Avi used to do a lot of the co-writing when he was still in the group too, and writes or co-writes almost all of his solo songs. Matt is the only one to not get a writing credit yet.

Omg. "We didn't have a big enough class. Only a hundred people." :D :D :D You know, whenever I forget how much bigger everything is in the US, I get something like this. We had 30 people in my class and that's considered too many :D :D. I guess you could say 60 if you count the paralel, but those are considered separate classes. We recently had a class reunion and there was maybe 12 people there :D :D.
@EhrineAshbark4 жыл бұрын
In this context I believe class is referring to the year-group rather than to an individual group of students who were in a classroom together (which is how we'd generally use it in the UK). So a "class reunion" is more of a "Year-group reunion". It might also be more in context of those studying the same course at university/college at the same time.
@bushysmama74884 жыл бұрын
@@EhrineAshbark this is true. We use class for individual topics, like “science class”!but also the entirety of the students of our grade level
@msmichellewinchester4 жыл бұрын
@@EhrineAshbark Ok, still, that's 60 people in our class then :D But also, in Czechia, you really just spend your time at school with the same number of people pretty much. Sometimes the class splits into two groups for specific subjects like foreign languages, but usually, you just have different subjects with the same 30 people the whole time you're at school. So that's why our reunions are usually just in that one class, not the whole grade.
