I was listening to this and thinking this sounds like something Kirstie wrote, and sure enough Google confirmed it. It's interesting to start learning their individual writing styles. It's just got a very chilled pop feel to it. I'm sure they all did their parts separately because of the pandemic (probably on the whole album I'd have thought). A full album of originals, how lucky are we? Maybe that's why they called it The Lucky Ones. Google says this was their first new original in 5 years, I wonder why they went so long between them or if they've just been sitting on them? Maybe they've just been too busy with touring and stuff to write them before covid caused everyone to slow down.

I love it. The pretty & calm "bum bum bum" part reminds me of Sail Away, while the beat done by Kevin, the rest of the melody, & the lyrics sound quite different. To me it gives a peaceful vibe that's simultaneously new/interesting & familiarly soothing. I love Kirstie's singing & everyone else just supports her perfectly to fit the mood. It's pretty & hearfelt.

I have a suspicion that there is an algorithm KZbin is using after you get over a certain subscriber number and then you start getting blocked. I haven't seen people with under 1000 get blocked even for the tricky ones like Pentatonix Imagine. I could be wrong but I will keep looking at it.

I agree. I've seen many reactors who have gone for a while without any hassle and then, suddenly, everything they do is blocked. I think it's an algorithm of some sort.

There is a sound I don't recall hearing from them before. What is your take on who is making it? It happens frequently during the song but, to point out what I'm talking about, it's right here: "The stranger that I (right here) call joy is Who you are when I'm too (right here) far down" It sounds like clicking.
