Yes headphones and Pentatonix go together like peanut butter and jelly!!
@steventambon25883 жыл бұрын
There are songs that they play with the Fade equalizers, you need to have headphones to get the full effect! (and if you dont wear over both ears you could miss entire portions of the song)

They aren’t human. Yes, this is all voice. This style of singing without instruments is called “a cappella “ and their group is one of the best (maybe the best). They have been together since 2011. Matt, the bass since 2017, is the one in the white jacket. Avi was the original bass , but left for family reasons. This has been the only member change in the band. The others are: Scott (baritone, but covers bass when Matt/Avi are singing) Mitch (counter tenor) Kirstin (lady alto/soprano) Kevin (beatboxer/tenor/cello player) When they do occasionally use an instrument, it will be prominently displayed. Recommend Rather Be, Love Again(original), Say Something, Amazing Grace, and 90s Dance Medley.

Great reaction! We Pentaholics love watching someone discover the awesomeness that IS Pentatonix!!! They are an all acapella group that has been together for 10 years and have won 3 Grammy Awards! The first was for their Daft Punk Medley-I think it would blow your mind. They also do several Evolution of ..... medleys. My personal favorites are Evolution of Michael Jackson, and Evolution of Beyonce. They also have many great originals. Their cover of Imagine is also one you don't want to miss. There has only ever been one member change. Matt, the one in the white jacket on the left, replaced the original bass, Avi Kaplan, when he left the group on friendly terms in 2017. Kirsten and Mitch (tenor with the mullet in this one) change their looks frequently, but it's always them! Scott, the tall one in the middle is a baritone, but takes over the bass line when Avi or Matt are singing lead. Kevin, the beatboxer on the right, is absolutely amazing! He also plays cello as well as many other instruments and will occasionally play in a song-their cover of Say Something is a good example of that. If you have some headphones or earbuds, you will be amazed at how much more you can hear all the different parts. Can't wait to see what you react to next!

PTX does songs across all genres... so whether you want to check out their more popular covers or would be interested in hearing something closer to what you listen to, there's really something for everyone. Literally everything from show tunes or country to a capella "EDM" dance music to R&B. Every one of them can even rap, though the raps in the group have trended more to Macklemore-stye, Mitch does the Iggy Azalea rap in their cover of Problem (and Mitch and Scott do a great cover of Nicki Minaj and Beyoncé's Feeling Myself in their side-project Superfruit.) I think I'd recommend their viral Daft Punk medley or their mashup of New Rules x Are You That Somebody (the a capella Timbaland beat is crazy!). The La La Latch rec was a good one, too, and there's always the standard "intro to PTX" Hallelujah or Bohemian Rhapsody.

They are making all of the music sounds with their voices. Pentatonix are an a cappella group that have won 3 Grammy Awards and are considered the best in the world. You should check out their most well known video called Hallelujah. There is the official video that has well over 650 million views if I remember correctly or you can watch their live version of this song when they had their Christmas special. Both sound exactly the same because that's how good they are. There is one person that you may not recognize because he is no longer with the group. His name is Avi, the original bass who was with the group from 2011 to 2017. He was replaced by Matt(the third person who sang in this video). Everyone else is the same. They fans, called the Pentaholics will give you plenty of information about them if you're not sure about something. The are very friendly and passionate about the group. Enjoy the ride!

The best Grammy is definitely Dance of the Sugar Plum Fairies. Imo. Just the idea that a group with no instruments won a Grammy for a song with no words🤯🤯🥳

Hallelujah has over 600 MILLION views for a reason. I’ve heard it a hundred times and still get goosebumps, it IS that good. It’s so much fun to watch someone new discover this group….you did notice that all the sounds, (vocals, drums, bass), were all produced by their voices, right? They’re the best acapella group in the world, IMHO. New subs here and hoping you explore more PTX. Hallelujah, Amazing Grace, Mad World, Can’t Hold Us, Daft Punk…these are great starters. Have fun!

They only use the instruments that you see in the video. Sometimes Kevin (the beat boxer on the far right) will bring out his cello. or Scott (tall guy in the middle) will play the piano but that is only a few songs. The vast majority of their hundreds of song do not use any instruments at all. They do most genres and have a wide range of styles in their videos. If you want rap, try "Can't Hold Us". If you want something your grandmother will love, try "Amazing Grace". If you want to send your grandmother running away, try "Daft Punk" or their original song "Love Again".

Welcome to PTX. A pentaholic sense 2011. We are a sweet and faithful fans. You play PTX. We will listen Kirstie and Mitch (high contra tenor) all ways Chang there looks. They won a singing competition that included $200,000 and a recording contract. They moved to LA when the studio dropped them. They decided to do KZbin videos from a couch. Three Grammy’s that the Grammy committee had to create a category for pentatonix. They are the best of the best. Welcome. And enjoy the ride. You should react to Imagine, evolution series and radioactive Original songs Sing, love again and thank you.

@gingerjohnson10953 жыл бұрын
If you like that, try them doing something like Can't Hold Us (Macklemore & Lewis). They rap. Fair warning though, their record label is brutal about blocking PTX videos so if you don't use a filter and pause often enough, expect to be blocked on most of their videos. Anything filmed by fancam is not owned by the record label and won't be blocked. Also be prepared to have your mouth hanging open in utter shock at frequent intervals. Everyone soon realizes that they are aliens because humans should not be able to do what they do.
