Yoda training Anakin would have been a case of the best teacher but not the best father figure. It would have logically made sense, as Anakin is the prophecized Chosen One. But Obi-Wan was one of the most emotional Jedi - far more than he is given credit for - but I think Qui-Gon would have been the ultimate best choice.

As his master he's more hands on. Taking him completely out of the consul and academy and training hands on would be a much better teacher and parent figure than Obi-Wan maybe not as good as jin but he doesn't need to be. One of the biggest issues was who anakin looked to as a father figure and trusted with his darkest thoughts. Unfortunately that person was feeding his dark thoughts. Yoda wouldn't feed them instead he would constantly look for the light in every bit of darkness he finds hell he might accidentally make a jedi balanced in both sides of the force if the student is surrounded by that much darkness. He might find there's even a way to keep those who stumble upon the darkside from falling. Under the someone like anakin who lived such a tortuous environment. Watching how they over or pull their darkness towards the light should give him millions of ideas.

Yoda is one of the few Jedi who can properly train Anakin and ensure he never turn to the Dark Side including Mace Windu, Jedi Dooku and of course Qui-Gon Jinn. Obi-Wan is great but Anakin felt like he couldn’t go to him about Padme and other stuff that was troubling him. That could be a interesting story, What if Anakin confided with Obi-Wan about his marriage and troubles?

While watching your movies, I came up with a few ideas. What if Padme survived but fell into a coma and Vader would find her, but not Luke and Leia? What if Anakin had stayed in the temple as Mace Windu had told him to do? What if the droid army had not been deactivated after Order 66? What if Anakin left the Jedi Order with a group of like-minded knights and Padawans and founded his own Branch of the Order? What if Mace Windu had killed Dooku in Attack of the Clones? What if Palpatine had not been elected Chancellor in The Phantom Menace? What if Palpatin's talks with the Separatists were accidentally intercepted by the Army of the Republic? What if the Republic, apart from producing clones, recruited ordinary citizens?

My god! That is amazing. In this story, Anakin is truly the Chosen One! He didn't even hesitate that much when he was offered to bring balance to the Force sacrificing himself to Mortis. Yoda's training almost changed his whole personality! It feels like something only Yoda could achieve. Also the voice acting is absolutely great! I enjoyed every single second of this story. Hmm well handled and very interesting take on handling things Much Faster... Like this could've been a series of Clone Wars where Yoda is more Active and I wish we Had Hours of this story going into all the detail and ALL the stuff Anakin and Yoda go through and their Reactions to all the Revelations throughout... Cause Mortis I can see being handled SO DIFFERENTLY If Master Yoda had been there... and I DO Love adding in the stuff from Achtoo or however its spelt... This is amazing, Mr. Pente Patrol; I like how you made the story more emotional and gave us something new (besides, someone trained Anakin). You're right about Yoda being a regular person, for he has flaws and needs to see a different point of view as a teacher. Seeing those flaws and understanding there needed some improvement led Yoda to bond well with Anakin and be something like a father figure to him. What's better, Qui-Gon Jinn and Shimi Skywalker are alive because of Yoda's actions. One, Yoda sends more Jedi to assist Qui-Gon. And his padawan, Obi-Wan Kenobi, on Naboo is an intelligent move, for they know if Maul might have acolytes with him, it's a good thing sending more Jedi would prevent Qui-Gon from being killed, which him being alive; would not cause Dooku to leave the order. Two, Yoda freeing Shimi Skywalker is a good thing because Anakin's attachments to his mother and those around him made him unique, and those attachments made him excel and thrive well in his Jedi training. He became a Jedi Knight faster under Yoda's teaching than Obi-Wan's training. Not only freeing Shimi Skywalker is a relief for Anakin, but freeing all the enslaved people in the Outer-Rim is a huge success and made the Jedi peacekeepers of the galaxy and defenders of the people. Because the Jedi Order is now being changed, this Jedi is more open to their emotions and closer to the people they are meant to protect and serve, not the politicians from the Galatic Senate from the Galactic Republic. Imagine if the Jedi could see how flawed their code is, then maybe they wouldn't be facing danger with Anakin turning on the dark side and won't lose any members but help them. I do have some other questions so far related to the video. Have other Jedi such as Quinlan Vos and Assjai Ventress stayed in the Jedi Order or still left? How could the daughter go to Anakin and Yoda if she could not leave Mortis physically? Would Anakin age the same as the father, or he can't? This is an excellent what-if video, Mr. Pente Patrol. This video is an exemplary masterpiece, especially with the voice acting, which made my day even brighter. Also, do you remember those links I showed, for example, on what type of Beskar Armor theme influence would fit best for Anakin? The first one is Mortis I always wished they did more with that story arc and I've always wondered "what if?" (haha pun intended). The second thing is Yoda learning from Anakin and the way you used what he learned to shape things going forward in the galaxy as a whole! With the exception of qui gon or plo koon. Yoda is a great choice to teach him he has centuries of experience. What if qui gon survived and becomes the Jedi grand master or master of the order.

Great video as always dude. I love and respect how much time effort and thought you always put into all these 'what-if' scenario videos. And I personally think that it's a 4-way tie between Master Yoda, Master Windu, Master Shak-Ti, and Master Plo Koon for second place as far as which Master on the High Council would have been best choice to train Anakin, with Master Yaddle being the BEST possible choice (in my personal opinion your 'what-if' video featuring Master Yaddle as Anakin's Master showed she would have been the BEST possible teacher for Anakin, but that's just my opinion). I'd love to see a 'what-if' scenario video if the Jedi Council member with the snake-like lower body (I HONESTLY don't remember his name) had trained Anakin. But even if that particular 'what-if' scenario never happens, again GREAT video dude.

I believe Windu could of been the perfect master for anakin as they were very a like in their darkside feelings. And i feel like anakin would have tremendous respect for mace as he did not fear the darkside but accepted it and learnt from it.

Without having listened to this yet, it would honestly make perfect sense for the Grand Master to be the one to train the one believed to be the Chosen One. Far too much would hang in the balance (so to speak) for them to risk someone so powerful to fall to the Dark Side, as of course ended up happening. Starting it now so I can hear your take on how this plays out.... After listening: Damn. It almost feels out of place hearing a Star Wars story with an actual happy, wholesome ending. Like the ending we all wanted Anakin to have and felt he deserved, but he never got.

I've always had a problem with everyone, especially Mace Windu, saying Anakin is to old to be trained. Mace Windu himself, brought a 19 year old Rahm Kota to the Jedi temple to be trained as a jedi. Mace found him as a battle hardened teen that had been a child soldier his whole life up to that point. I just can't understand his disdain for Anakin being trained after that.

Man, I love the other Star Wars KZbin channels, and no hate to them at all, but you are the one I’d have to say should actually work for Disney doing a What If series. It’s not only that your stories are great, because there’s a lot of channels who do great stories, but you also make them the perfect length for hour long episodes. Love your videos man
