My doctor has tested me for everything and everything is coming up normal for my partial facial paralysis. The mild/partial intermittent paralysis is now constant. This is all happening on the same side my jaw pops. I have an MRI coming up just in case it is something scary. The days that I have no headaches are anabsolute miracle. I have headaches and migraines all the time. This might be a next step.

So true...hard to find a good one. Lots of misdiagnosis. I got tangled in the wrong diagnosis. Suffering with open bite now.

I had TMJ pain so bad that my jaw all but locked up, especially in the morning. My dentist told me i was grinding my teeth at night, but my teeth weren't wearing down and my partner didn't notice anything, so the doc said I was clenching at night and made me a very expensive mouthguard which actually made it much worse. After more symptoms like neck pain, severe fatigue, and a swollen knee.... turned out I had rheumatoid disease, and my jaw was the first point of inflammation. Took over a year to diagnose due to the atypical symptoms.

Yeah, tried a TMJ dentist and they wanted $6000 to do treatment. Up front, no insurance.

So many people dont realise TMJ is a body part and not a condition. Itd be like saying "I have a head" instead of "I have a headache"

I've got intense jaw muscles as I used to do intese jaw exercises but I've stopped doing so for months..as my jaw started becoming wider..but even after so many months it is not going back to normal..sometimes my jaw hurts as well..I got to know through sources that sometimes effects can be permanent..I'm so afraid..please tell me how to reduce my jaw muscles..I don't like my wide jaw..I want it to go back to normal..please help.
