I’ve worked in retail for years. Changing the mannequin is a safety hazard. Regular sales associates arnt typically allowed to change them alone. At Nordstrom, we had a visual team that managed them. Further, the theme and highlighted outfits typically follow the nation-wide themes required by corporate offices. This woman is a menace.

The arms and sometimes the head are held together with high power magnets and the mannequins themselves can weigh around 50 pounds sometimes. It's incredibly easy to pinch yourself in the arm joints or hurt your back if you attempt to move it in the wrong way. It's considered a safety hazard for any non employee to change them.

Seeing her grab the nicely folded clothes and then just toss them back makes me so irrationally angry. As an ex-retail employee, her changing that mannequin made me see red. A lot of store mannequins wear clothes that are specifically marked/inventoried for visuals and not labelled for sale. By undressing that mannequin, redressing it with different items, and throwing the mannequin's clothes in a different pile, she completely messed with both the "in sale" inventory and the "visuals" inventory, meaning some poor employee in visuals or operations is going to be going on a wild goose chase to figure out why their inventory doesn't match their sales AND have to reallocate items to make the inventory whole again. This woman has never held a blue collar job in her life and it shows.

I used to work in visual merchandising, which is essentially staging a store, which involves dressing the mannequins. Large chain stores are given what’s called a “Directive” which is essentially a visual guide to how to dress the mannequins. That mannequin was most likely from a directive from corporate, not just an employee putting whatever together..so miss Anna absolutely created more work for the employees because they will need to dress that mannequin back to the original directive.

as someone who has been overweight for most of my life, I kind of got second hand anxiety from just seeing a big girl try to find clothes and nothing she likes is in her size - that's been the story of my life basically. everything I liked was small, everything I had to wear I tolerated... it does kinda get to you after a while because you can never really express yourself with your fashion. I started wearing men's clothes just because they simply carried stuff that would fit me. I think the difference is I'm working towards losing weight so I CAN wear clothes I actually like (30 pounds down) - it sucks that I wasted most of my young adult life wearing clothes I didn't really care for because I couldn't get a grip on self care (depression mostly), but now in my 30s I'm mentally well enough to give a shit. It's not easy, but being able to actually find clothes that fit me will be so worth it.

My grandma was an immigrant she worked picking cotton and cleaning rich people's house's. My dad taught us at a very young age to respect working in sanitation and retail/customer services because they get a lot of crap from people like anna, he always told us to put stuff back in the right place and refold clothes. He told us how hard some people have to work just to get by and how they dont need more work. My mom would say "they dont get paid to clean up after you" My family struggled a lot just to get by and we had it hard sometimes, but my parents always taught us to be grateful because other people have it even harder, they could have 3 jobs and work nonstop just to feed their family so we shouldn't do things to make their jobs harder.we were told how hard my grandma had to work & how horrible she was treated. That always sticks in my mind when i see people like anna being awful and disrespectful without caring about who has to clean up after them, its disgusting to see people like her throwing clothes around and recking the displays.

I'm glad I'm not the only one who thinks she's not completely truthful about what size she is. I've never bought clothes at Target, so I'm not positive, but I'm typically an XL in straight sizes, a 1X to 2X in juniors sizing, and I feel like she's quite a bit bigger than me.

I followed Anna from the very very beginning of her channel, she had a full time job then and lived in an apartment with her dog. She was smaller than she is now (still plus sized, but smaller), & actually provided something relatively positive to the plus size community in terms of decent clothing reviews where she was honest even if sponsored (which was rare back then). All of a sudden she moved to New York and became popular on other social media platforms and oh my goodness, her attitude stank. I left a few comments calling her out on her disgusting, snotty behaviour, but had a tirade of fangorls on my case. She’s popped up over the last 6 months occasionally in my shorts and.. oh my. The front on that lass. She expects the world to bow down to her. The moment she gets rightfully called out for her behaviour, she feigns ‘poor mental health’ - GTFO lol. I will ALWAYS stand by the fact I don’t care what someone’s size is, it’s not my business, what I do care about is the false narratives they put across and their overall attitudes & behaviours / how they treat other people, Anna is a perfect example of how not to behave in life! I recon her, Amber & Chantal would be the best of besties.

When I worked retail the mannequins were planned by head office so what an annoying job to have to clean up after someone like that. However I would’ve told her to stop that immediately. Also you should cover that she lied about her weight loss that was from medication and not from actual diet and exercise (allegedly conspiracy whatever) 😂

Anna is at least a 5X in clothing. Even though she has been exercising and supposedly using Wegovy, she is still huge. I believe this is because she is indulging in food and drinking lots of alcohol. Food and alcohol are her vices. I think Anna is a very angry person underneath it all, and her behavior in Target demonstrates her bitterness. She chose to show up aggressive and unkempt and film it all for public consumption on social media. Despite her fat acceptance stance, Anna is angry at herself, her body, her severe obesity, her addictions to food and drink, her family, and her inability to make her life work the way she believes it should. Anna started as a health and fitness influencer on social media, because her mom and sister died from obesity-related causes. She was once a "small" fat, but look at her now. How lost and dismayed she must feel knowing how far she has fallen and how difficult it will be recover and keep her health. It's kind of tragic.

I give her grace because of her tragic upbringing. Both her mother and sister had chronic illnesses and died young. So she spent years afraid of doctors and not taking care of her health. She has Hasimotos and other conditions and is finally getting treatment.

Also, one of my mottos: Don't fuck with the people who handle your food or your meds! Pretty much, be kind to those who are in the service industry. I did waitressing, customer service, cashiering, and back up supervisor jobs before I was disabled. The sort of crap you have to deal with from people is kinda insane. When I was in the hospital for nearly two months, I got to see and hear how people treated the aides, nurses, and even doctors. It was abysmal! The people there loved me, because I treated them like people. I always say please and thank you. Hell, I even say please to my Google Assistant (⁠≧⁠▽⁠≦⁠) He makes my life so much more easy, so why wouldn't I?

If Head Office went to visit that location and saw that the mannequins weren't what they wanted the manager will get in trouble as well as the employee who was in charge of that section because it looks like they didnt do their job
