I have eaten cracker soup in the 70s. Lightly butteted saltines with boiling water drizzled over. Still warms my heart.

Love bananas and milk with honey or molasses. My Granpa used to make this for me when l was a teen during the late 70's. He also taught me to make prune pudding which l love to this day in my 60's now. Bean stew is a fevorite of mine too. I like peanutbutter with fluff sandwiches too. I eat tomato sauce with mashed taters too. My Granpa would ask for this alot and l would make it and we would sit down to a nice supper on my nights off in the fall and winter. It was one of my most happy memories.

I like bananas and milk w/ a bit of sugar. Really no different than having cereal w/ sliced bananas on top... just no cereal. My BIL used to eat pb and mayo. I gagged everytime he started to make one...lol The mock apple pie is good. My mother made it a few times...also made tomato soup cake and chocolate mayo cake...both of which are also good. Potato cakes, SOS, dry pea soup...all favorites of mine.

When mom cleaned out the fridge she would make a pot of garbage soup. Always good but never the same way twice. She was amazing with leftovers.

My mom use to take stale bread torn up in bite size pieces then mix in with a large can of stewed tomatoes with the juice then heated up until hot. I know it horrible but it really tasted good. This was used as a side dish.
