Exactly but usually when the rent is processing I don't even ring up ramen soup because I don't want it to disrupt the system. You have to be a little bit dishonest with someone like that and not tell them when you pay a bill. Being late on rent causes the landlords to not trust you to were they might not renew your lease it's not always because they got evicted sometimes the landlord gets fed up with working with the tenants so they move them out of the unit when something breaks or they sell the property and they use the excuse that somebody else is moving into it.

We as a society need men shelters. Where men that get rejected by their wifes can go. Instead of stiiting alone in a motel and getting drunk or being with friends who tell them it's the woman's fault. A place with social workers and therapists. People who calm these men down by listening, a place where these men are not alone with their confusion and anger. A lot of men grow up in families with a father that has nothing to offer aside from emotional, psysical and sometimes xsual violence for a little boy. And it's sadly normal that a lot of men copy this abusive fathers behaviour. That's why I think, in the long term, men shelters will help to undo intergenerational trauma. I am very aware of osychopathy, sociopathy and full fledged narcicisstic personality disorder. But not every man is beyond saving and men shelters can also help to at least try to sort men into "can learn" and "beyond saving".

The main issue in this specific situation, isn't that he doesn't have a job. It's that he's a total piece of sh1t towards the MIL. He's disrespecting the woman they're asking for help from, instead of humbling himself & thanking her that the kids are going to be taken care of. The MIL will literally be the provider for his family until he also gets back on his feet. That's a huge & unfair responsibility to put on someone, especially one that's old. The wife is also pissing me off by disrespecting her mom. She does seem to enable the husband's disgusting behaviour. It's a pity that if they went to the man's parents, the guy's mom would probably abuse the wife, since in laws become the most vile creatures towards the wife or gf, even when she decides to be a complete pushover, thinking there will be peace if she just agrees to anything & everything. This same EXACT thing happened to my best friend. Her husband didn't like to work, and she had just had her second child. They got evicted out of their apartment and she called her parents, and the father told her to come home. She and her husband, along with the 2 kids, came stepping up to the house with their belongings and her father stopped him at the door. He wouldn't allow him to bring HIS things in the house. He told him that he REFUSED to take care of another grown man! He said "I'm already taking care of your family, but I'm NOT going to take care of you too!" Of course my friend's husband was upset, but there was nothing he could do. The father told him to come back when he became a man. He had to go float from relative to relative's house. He never could get them a place and provide for them, and she ended up using an income tax return to get them all back under one roof.😏

He grow up in a household where the mother cared for everything like a five star hotel and the dad left in the morning and came back and was only seen for dinner. Some men see their fathers do nothing in the household, they show up for dinner and than go off watching TV and do hobbies on the weekend and have little to do with "family life". From my perspective growing up in a home where (lost my parents at three years old) my grandfather did laundry and cooking and played with me as a kid and supervised me watching TV. I had to learn that this is not normal and that's why I think it leads to many problems. Little boys don't get shown by their fathers how to do laundry and how to paint pictures or read the clock or tie shoe laces. Or just sit with their fathers cuddling up and watching saturday morning cartoons.

These new men make me realize how much my grandfather handled business. He had his issues and he wasnt the nicest person, but he'd be damned if he let the family get evicted. He never let us be in need, and we never went without. And when he lost his job and fell on hard times, he took himself back to school and got his associates degree while in his 60's! Then started his own trucking business and trucked until the day he died. These new men are not even trying to propel themselves into a better situation with their education, their career, their speech (because the way hes speaking i can tell hes not bringing in enough income for the family unless he works in automotive industry). The mama feels like if you are failing the family to this degree then you dont need to be with the family.

My eldest sister has one of these. Been married to him for neaarly 40 years. We cannot count the number of times that we have had to come to their rescue because we love our sister - not him. Now it has changed and now my sister is embarrassed to come to us as quickly as she did , say, 20 yrs ago, but she still does. We just helped her pay her rent because yet again, he doesnt have a job. They are perpetually broke a anf its my sister who always makes a way out of no way in the relationship. His attitude is stank and entitled just like the Kang here. Right now my sister is stranded three hours from their home because their car broke down on a road trip and not only does he have no money, and he knows nothing about cars. There is still hope in this screwed-up world if people still feel this way. I was hoping this wasn't going to turn, and people were going to take this man-child's side. I don't know the backstory, but I know that men are supposed to take care of their family. It's an outdated concept nowadays, but it's still true. He can sleep in his car, I've had to do that before and I'm not a man. A long time ago I went to live with my mother-in-law because I had no living family. Her son and I didn't have children yet we had just lost our apartment because they sold it. And we couldn't find a new place we could afford. My husband went to another state to find a job until he could send for me. At first, I was embarrassed, because I felt as if I were imposing on my brand new mother-in-law. The entire 6 mos that I was there I never let her do a dish and I tried to cook every meal. I also worked the entire time that I lived there, as did she. Years later, my husband left my son and I. My mother in law took our side. 😂 She was too stubborn to move in with me so that I could take care of her, so I drove 4 hours every weekend down to West Virginia, from PA. She got sick and I took care of her until she died at a very young age. She told me before she died, that she was ashamed of her son, when he abandoned her grandson and I. Real men, who love their wives and children are a dying breed, but this video, or at least the reaction to it, gives me a tiny bit of hope for the future generations.
