I dunno, Grham has always struck me as a dude who got lucky in one thing and took that to mean his opinion is right on everything else

100% his schtick. He's a complete tool even in finances, he was 100% lucky and is now out here peddling bad advice to vulnerable viewers

@@AkuaWalters Noticed him today. Claiming tax breaks expiring made housing prices go up, and immigrants were getting free housing.

I've seen a lot of people who are quitting their jobs without backup plans or jobs lined up. How? Are they not paying attention to how lucky they are and how hard it will be to find a new job?
@mofobish7 ай бұрын
Good point, always better to have a back up before leaving a job

Why would unemployment go down if someone takes two job? Only one job means you're employed, they won't add +1 to that stat just because you have another job.
@SueeXO7 ай бұрын
Exactly, it doesn’t…the unemployment calculation= (unemployed/labour force)x 100. The labour force is those employed + unemployed. So no a second job doesn’t decrease the unemployment rate 😂

If 300,000 jobs are created, and everyone needs two, then those aren't good jobs.

Hes kind of cooking though. Throwing darts doesnt work anymore when companies are getting thousands of applications for every job opening. There are jobs out there, you have to focus on a few applications and make them really good instead of making 100s of cookie cutter applications. One last thing, be audacious with the job search. If a company says theyre looking for 2-5 years of experience apply anyway.
