The part that looks like his hip/belly area (behind where he is holding onto the handle) is actually a cushion he is sitting on. He is not standing at all. He is sitting, with his legs bent and torso turned forward. You can see part of his shoe behind the middle part that rotates the camera. The crinkles in his "shirt" at his "stomach" (which is not his stomach at all but his upper thighs) is because he is bending his legs and turned them sideways
