Not only that but as my doctor told when i was perfectly healthy but didnt think i was that if i keep looking for something wrong with me i will find i because their are plenty of horse doctors out there who dont know up from down and just want to make a buck off you even if its in the worst way. Hope everything turned out good and im wishing you good healthy and many more years of great skateboarding. Cheers

🎉I remembered the 'touring skate van' game I came up with, the older one was 'never have I ever' (eg 360 backside) makes dragon slaying fun 🐉 and the new one is "what do 'core' skaters do" eg. Take ballet lessons, immediately check rainfall/surface conditions falling out of bed, practice handstands, apply for local political positions to get parks built and all the streets resurfaced 😅 core

Powell-Peralta is literally peak skateboarding. From OG legends like Cab to modern legends like Andy Anderson. I cant name a single other skateboard team with even 1% as much talent nor hype. Honestly too many to list here because the entire team is comprised of all incredible skaters. The fact it's a legacy brand and Peralta is still around gives it an entirely different power. I mean we've all seen Lords of Dogtown and scholars of the sport will understand how that has transferred into modern skating with the Vert/Freetyle era and then Street era. Peralta is as large a name as he was back in his competitive prime makes it a legendary company, in my humble opinion. It's survived the entire time until now Skateboarding is a legitimate and (semi) respected sport. A far sight from poaching pools lol. I know it's not the kinda vid you typically make but a "History of Powell-Peralta" from you (Featuring interviews with dudes currently on/involved with the team) as a sort of retrospective would be incredible. Wishful thinking perhaps but I'd love to see something similar to that made by skaters not some lame production company. If you could get the official Peralta production staff to sign off on it, all the better. Make it 50% documentary 50% skate part. It could be a legendary piece of media if done correct. I feel like you have the access/skill. You could just film it guerilla style. It would be so fkn rad.

A long time ago, dead trees were "litter". As in, nothing could break them down. They just piled up and up and now we see the result as coal deposits. Then stuff figured out how to process that newly created material we call wood and they became biodegradable. I wonder if plastic and other litter will have the same fate. Maybe soon we'll have plastic rot just like wood rots once some microorganism figures out how to eat it.
@jp138344 күн бұрын
The problem is we use plastic since a really short amount of time next to how long the phenomenon you're talking about takes, it probably took thousands if not millions of years to have the organisms breaking down the wood. And that's the minimum of time we can expect for it to happen with plastic saddly...
@Kowzorz3 күн бұрын
@@jp13834 I could imagine some biolab leak (or purposeful dissemination) of some existing plastic-eating microbes causing a ruckus as it naturalizes. Our understanding of the speed of evolutionary changes might be mistaken too. New studies show that evolution is often less of a "slow and steady" pace, but instead is more of a "sprint and chill" situation. *shrug* beats me
@jp138343 күн бұрын
@@Kowzorz Tbh I wish you're right, I don't allow myself to hope for it though, I met too many people who where so hopefull for technical innovation and other evolutions like the ones you describe that they were totally neglecting the actual efforts we should make to keep our world sustainable. I mean if it works it's really great but we can't keep destroying what we have in the hope that someday something will allow the earth to recover from our trash. Nice having a chat with you though I really enjoy peacefull debate like this, people on the internet are often agressive or take dissenting opinion from their own as a personnal attack, it's cool to see people are still willing to talk about stuff with others without needing them to fully agree on everything they say.
