I went to my cousin's wedding. Wonderful reception and beautiful decorations. Her wedding dress was gorgeous. It looked like something a Disney princess would wear. Near the end of the reception, the bride, groom and the bride's whole family(6 kids 2 parents) jumped in the pool with all of their suits and dresses on. After they jumped in, about half of the guests jumped into the pool as well. ( I'm pretty sure the bride's dress got ruined ) After about 10 minutes of splashing and jumping off the diving board, just about everybody was out of the water, accept for a couple of kids. Everyone was soaking wet and cold. The bride's parents ran out of towels and people were shivering as the bride and groom drove away in their changed, dry clothes. Wonderful reception, though. I loved it.

My cousins wedding was a disaster. This wife is Croatian and we’re portuguese. The whole night was filled with music from a live croatian band and we got 30 mins of party/portuguese music. At the bouquet toss, his wife friend shoved me out of her way and SHE caught the bouquet when it was clearly coming my way. I had a bruise. At 12am, the entire side of our family left and her entire family was still there. Our weddings usually last until 4am.

Not at the wedding but sorta about the wedding: When I was 3 my family and I were invited to my friend’s mother’s wedding. Me (a 3 year old) asked my mother who she (my friend's mother) was marrying. She said, "I already asked her that. She said she might marry her ex husband again or her boyfriend. She can't decide." She ended up marrying her boyfriend at the end. So... I guess happy ending??

When I was 12 my family got invited to a wedding in Mexico at a gorgeous catedral. We had travelled nine hours for this wedding. Everything was fine until my cousin (the groom’s sister) and her mother threw hands at the bride’s family for blocking them in pictures outside of the church. The priest got involved and since this catedral is considered a tourist spot quite a big crowd gathered. Thankfully the wedding went on, but my cousin didn’t attend the reception.

Personally I don't see what's wrong with proposing at a wedding if you know the people I find it quite romantic because you can share in each others happiness :) it's not conventional but it's nothing to lose friendships over imo

If the Bride and Groom didn't know about it at all its quite rude and evil. Both paid and organized so much and put time and passion into it that it is selfish and bad to take away THEIR special day just so you don't have to do anything for your proposal. You would take away it all and would make THEIR day yours. If they are okay with it and help with it, than it is okay but for everything else...don't expect sympathy and happiness from the wedded couple. Its entitled, selfish, narcissistic and somewhat evil to do something without the okay of the pair.

@@backpug1228 I don't see it as evil narcissistic entitled or selfish because i just see it as a person got inspired to profess his love because he/she was surrounded by a day of love and then the bride and groom can have even more happiness to share and rejoice in making the day far more special. I'm sorry if I sound rude I just love seeing happiness and togetherness spread but don't get me wrong as I said I wouldn't want it done if the couple weren't okay with it but I'm just a big softy I suppose I would never want to come across as selfish sounding tho I just wouldn't be the type to get angry if it happened to me and I don't see it as horrible depending on how the intention was. If they are trying to purposefully steal the spotlight then they need to rethink their actions but if done on a spur of the moment swell of love then it's excusable I believe idk what I mean is complicated but I promise i would never want to sound horrible have a wonderful day :)
