A lot of people mistake kindness for weakness. If you’re reading this and you happen to be a nice person, NEVER change who you are. Screw the world. The right people will come into your life and appreciate you. For my fellas: If she doesn’t give you a chance cause you’re a “nice guy” then it’s her loss. Ever wonder why so many women get their hearts broken and then complain that men are dogs!? It’s coz you ditched the guy who genuinely wanted to treat you right ! It’s not rocket science. 🤦🏽‍♂️

Couldn't agree more dude... I sort of see the point of this video and agree to some points as well but I truly believe if you are kind and have empathy be that way.. One does not need to take a stand for themselves at every given point and also does not need to hold back his emotions just so he could look tough in front of someone else and seem attractive.... be yourself and the right person would see the good in you.

I was that guy who was that nice and kind guy. Never had many girlfriends. I never knew how to act tough and outgoing. Never knew how to act different in order to be attractive. But sure enough, the right person came along and admired me for me and we've been together 20 yrs and married 11yrs. Yes, no need to pretend to be someone your not. There is a person out there for everyone.

The point is that women don't find nice guys attractive. The girl you're waiting for will be one settling with you and she'll always treat you as such. And please, don't read this as me saying "you have to be an asshole" cuz that isn't what I mean. But when you're too nice even with the people you know are just taking advantage of you, that is weakness, unless you're benefitting somehow doing so. Even if you're doing it because you want to help someone that day. Just never be a doormat.

Being pleasant or kind is different from being a pushover. When people talk about nice guys, they talk about guys who hide the fact that they got dick, say yes to everything the girl says, guys who can't get what they want, are heavily approval seeking. The reality is nice guys are pretending to be something they're not because they're scared of confrontations and backlash. You're placing your value on what others think. People are not turned off by kindness because kindness comes from position of strength. Being weak isn't who you're, it's a choice you made.

The word "nice" is so poorly and commonly used in this man-to-woman context. It's not about being nice, it's about whether you are trying to be kind as a method of appeasement or conversely, nonchalant strength. If someone doesn't like another being kind to them, they probably have some attachment issues to figure out. It roughly goes like this: "I don't respect or like myself that much, so why does he? Ew. I don't like him if he likes me because if I don't like me and he does, then he must be even worse than I am".

I think it’s more about not seeming desperate opposed to being either nice or “mean”. It’s not so black and white. If you truly focus on yourself and understand that being with this person isn’t going to give you happiness, and that you find happiness within, suddenly you seem less desperate, less insecure, more confident and grounded

Its like going into a car dealership and being afraid to walk away. Most salesmen will see right through you and take you for everything youve got. Whereas if youre willing to walk away, even if youre only pretending that youre willing to walk away, they will likely bestow greater respect upon you and have a harder time taking advantage of you.
@Ashnesss
@Ashnesss 2 ай бұрын
That’s nonsense. Everyone reacts to their surroundings. No one is happy alone. Humans aren’t made to be alone. Humans are made to be social and to be in love. Love and affection is a human need. Humans can’t live without it. It’s NOT true that you can give yourself the love that a partner can. You can’t hug, cuddle or make love to yourself. You can’t send yourself goodnight messages, go on a honeymoon, start a family, have kids or have grandkids, all by yourself. Traumatised people who are deeply hurt, retreat and offer unsolicited advice about “being alone” which usually means that they’ve been single, rejected and unwanted for years, if not decades. They are traumatised from a bad break up or parents divorce. Someone needs to tell such people to see psychiatrists because it’s NOT normal to be single for years on end nor is it normal to offer unsolicited advice, telling people to be single and alone, for years. Just making that statement, alone, suggests that the person has deep issues. Its UNHEALTHY! If everyone has friends and is dating/engaged/married and in love, except one person who keeps on ranting about being alone and being isolated from friends and potential boyfriends/girlfriends, then suffice to say that that person is the one who can’t get along with anyone, can’t be a good friend, isn’t dating/marriage material and clearly IS the problem. Because no one else seems to have a problem making friends, maintaining friendships, moving on from break ups, accepting what was and dating/marrying again. People who don’t have the maturity to date or break up, shouldn’t enter relationships/marriage because they have no identity outside of their relationship and they project their break up trauma on strangers, who have nothing to do with whatever fuse has gone off, and remains active for years. A simple break up is enough to derail some people to the point that they lose themselves and ruin other people’s lives, because they feel OUT of control. That’s what happens when you don’t have a sense of identity and when you enter something, with your emotions all over the place. Don’t date, if you’re going to ruin lives just because you had a break up. Other people aren’t responsible for your hurt. Don’t advise others to be single just because YOU are hurt and can’t navigate an engagement.

This actually works for both genders. I was a very insecure person but I knew that it made me feel repulsed when men acted overly insecure, so when I met my boyfriend I really liked him and didn't want to come off as insecure. I chose to fight those thoughts and we were constantly around girls that were better looking than me and my boyfriend is a very attractive man and would get hit on a lot. But because I acted confident and I just enjoyed spending time with him he always gave me way more attention than everyone else. Made me his girlfriend after three weeks of meeting him and we've been together eight years now. Now we both know each other's insecurities very well but we are also aware that's not an attractive quality to have.

People like douchebags, selfish people, loudmouths, manipulative jerks and try hards. They love them. Women love them, kids love them and selfish one way manipulative scumbags always find a way to make the best first impressions. Sell out. Drop your morals if you want more out of life. Pick a few people to treat well and step over the heads of the rest. If you don’t learn how to act that way you will always be passed over and eventually no matter who you are or how long you stick to that stupid moral code and treat others with respect, you will realize one day no one appreciates it and it was not worth it.

You can't be confident the way you look if you need to 'enhance, alter or hide' your facial features with makeup. 2. I have to disagree with Robert on this one. It's about demonstrating to her that the guy is capable of protecting her, and kindness is appeasement if done from a position of weakness. It's not about being "too" nice it's just that being nice won't make up for a lack of attraction, contrary to what civilized society insists is the truth. If a woman is genuinely attracted to a man it doesn't matter how nice or mean he is as long as she and her children are properly protected. If a male model acts too nice it's still hot for most women. Otherwise it's repulsive.
@Violets14
@Violets14 2 жыл бұрын
You're right when it comes to attraction. I think there's different dynamics when it comes to this. I think Robert is speaking of what garners general respect - which is a person who basically won't put anyone else on a pedestal and stand up for themselves. In terms of the male female dynamic, women like a guy who is assertive, can take the lead when necessary and is protective - but all that can be done while treating someone respectfully. If a guy doesn't or doesn't want to protect a woman instinctually - there is something wrong, even ethically wrong. Men generally are stronger physically and women are in more danger physically than men are. If I don't feel like a man knows when to sense danger or is too at ease in dangerous situations and doesn't seem to have an antenna up - it raises the risk of both people being in danger and that doesn't work for me.

People often mistake the fault of being "too nice" with being kind, understanding, loving, appreciative and attentive. Which men should be with women. What should be avoided is seeming afraid of constantly saying or doing the wrong thing which could upset the other person, being unconfident, walking on eggshells, or seeming disingenuous, as if you are just a people pleaser who doesn't believe in your own words and actions. being a sycophant or having no intrinsic value.

All women want to be with a kind and respectful guy but also who steps up and defends you when there's time. I don't want a guy who picks up fights in bars or in football stadiums, but if someone is mistreating me, being unrespectful to me he won't just stand there watching. This happened before, it's nasty. I dated a guy of chinese race and he owned a convenience shop, this lady come in and thought i was an employee and made some nasty racist remarks about him and chinese and I defended, then the lady started to be nasty at me, that I couldn't even get a job at a proper place to be a minimum wage employee at the shop (also offending the other employee). While this happening my now EX-bf just hid at the office listening, finally stepped out, and i was visible distressed and shaking and he said laughing "it was very interesting seeing you defending and fighting that old lady like that eheh". So he saw that the argument started because i defended him from the racist comments and then the woman started to disrespect me and even the other worker and, at his own shop, he didn't step out to say anything, just enjoyed his "woman" doing it all. That doesn't show respect or toughness, meanwhile he would proudly say he would punch someone he found them stealing. So he can be "tough" but not to protect his own woman, nobody wants someone like that.

@@Sarablueunicorn Well we are talking about the same thing. I can understand what you are saying. What i am saying is that many idiots mistake this advice with being a total duchebag 24/7 and depriving their girlfriends of affection because they thing that showing affection is a "feminine" thing when in reality it is just a part of a healthy relationship. A man should compliment and give love to his girlfriend/wife. This is a MUST. Also, a man has to be in a position to protect his gf and not hide like a puss@. This is a MUST as well. This is why i think a man should hit the gym at all costs. Not only to look better but to be stronger. The problem is that people hear stuff like this and they feel validated to the idea that women don’t like nice guys, when in reality it’s not that they don’t like nice guys. Correlation doesn’t equal causation. What he’s saying is true, but like with most things in life, it goes deeper than that.

I've become too nice and got taken advantage of in almost every which direction ... N it was trying to please everybody and ever since I stopped and held at my ground and just started to be myself everything started to look better and looking up

I think the idea of being too nice is the idea of people coming off as people pleasing and that's easy to gauge because people pleasing at the root of it is quite selfish even if the intention is not to read that way (I.e being overly catering to get a girl to like you or think they'll date you) - it shows no sense of confidence or even sense of self. Truly nice people aren't pushovers or trying to come off a certain way, they're open and honest in a way that does make another people see their love and that makes you feel safe. A people pleaser naturally can't make you feel safe because they're subject to your 'leadership.'
