Lysca I think the problem was that the nose rings were just too big. I have my septum pierced and two tiny nose studs and it looks great. When you have multiple piercings you really need to think about how all the jewellery works together but in this video I don't think they did that 🙂

Lisa Hope - I don't want to change mine but I had to use pliers to get mine on! I put it in from the outside of the hole instead of putting it in from the inside so now half of it is closed up. One day I'm going to have to cut the ring to get it out and when that day comes I'll never be able to put one back in because I put it on the wrong way years ago :(

+Bethany Clayton no problem ^^ and in case you decide to get it done: painwise I would rate it like a 2/10 max (I'd say I have a low pain tolerance), and the healing time is quite short, at least it was for me, so there's really nothing to be afraid of :D except for unacquainted piercers maybe.. a friend of mine accidentally got her cartilage pierced because the guy didn't know where the sweet spot is 😅

Sloan Weekes mmmm...I guess for me they weren't worth it. Probably because of the placement. I have one under each collar bone towards my shoulders so they got caught a lot on seat belts and clothing and even my hair. One got ripped out by a seat belt so technically I only have one. I think a different placement would make it more beneficial but I wouldn't put one on my face, they leave pretty nasty scars.

I've got a Septum for nearly six years now and a lip ring since April. (And a few in my ears) Never regretted it. To be honest I rarely wear my Septum visibly but that's something I really love about it. You need to be serious, just tuck it in your nose. I was kinda worried about my lip ring though. I can't hide it as easy. But no problem. Nobody cares. Half my family needed weeks to realize it's there, even my dad who hates piercings! Get one if you want and don't care about other people. I get in touch with managers on a daily basis and not even they care. Piercings are no taboo anymore. They're normal. Same with tattoos.

I have a right nostril piercing and I LOVE it! Getting a facial piercing is all about finding what works for your face and knowing that it takes a little more time and effort to take care of it and keep it clean.

As someone with an eyebrow piercing, I highly recommend facial piercings. Just not overboard... Like.. The septum + side nose at the same time? I would never. But hey, if you want it and you feel good with it, go for it.

Amii I got my nose peirced for real and I chose a stud instead of a ring and it looks nicer that way, IMHO. Granted I just switched my face ring to the other nostril and continued to use my face septum too. But I'm known to be extra.

That's almost like asking why people don't get fake (temporary) tattoos instead of real ones. Not everyone is afraid of commitment. And some people just like the feeling of a new tattoo being done or getting a new piercing.

For anyone debating if they want a septum piercing or not, do it. I got mine almost 2 months ago and it was almost painless and healed with out a problem. Also, it won't leave a visible scar and you can flip it up if you want to hide. Just do research and make sure you're going to a good piercer to make sure everything goes smoothly.
