The stroke one was so scary. My cousin had a stroke around this time last year. Age 27F. She survived thank goodness, but she is a very healthy, active woman with no prior health issues that I know of. Her boyfriend saw she looked off (they’re getting married in April so now fiancée) and her dad called 911 soon after her boyfriend noticed she looked sick. Her face was droopy and she gad the classic signs of a stroke in general. I wasn’t there at the time but it was a rough start to the new year (literally occurred January 1st if I’m not wrong). She had an operation to fix the damage done by the stroke and she left the hospital after just 3 days. She has had no health deficits and looks great, summer 2021 she was engaged, and ended 2021 with a baby nephew. Strokes can happen in anyone, regardless of age, health status, race, or anything else. Go with your gut instincts if someone or something looks off!

Congratulations to your cousin’s marriage and her baby. I agree, always trust your gut instincts, especially now, a lot of people may not want to seek medical help because the hospitals are so busy. But every single life matter, if something feels off, dont hesitate.

My best friend and I used to take long walks when we lived in the same neighborhood, we had some creepy stuff happen to us and we were only about eleven to thirteen before we both moved to different neighborhoods that were safer. This one time, there was this lady in a broken-down trailer who saw us and told us we looked like little angels, asked us where we were going, and if we'd like to come in. When I tell you we ran... I'm just glad that we weren't innocent enough to listen to her. Also at least three times there were creepy suspicious looking guys that would walk behind us, and we usually just crossed the street to get away from them, but one guy smoking a cigarette, he crossed the street too, and we had to go into a convenience store to shake him off... And once we almost got hit by a car going 60 or 70 in a place where there was a stop sign... Yes, the world is a dangerous place, but... that was a pretty fun time, now we barely get to see each other, we're lucky to see each other once a week. I'm glad we moved out of that neighborhood though, even if we can't walk to each other's houses anymore.

My sister once had one. This was Arizona, by the way. I was about 11, my sis about 9, and it was near Halloween. We had these bushes that we wanted to put Halloween lights on, but it was already dark, and like eight pm. That day my sister had been somewhat anxious all day, and extremely paranoid. I had asked her earlier what was wrong, and she said she just didn't like how dark it was getting. I thought it was weird, but continued with my day. My mom grabs the lights, and is about to step outside, my sister and I behind her, when my sister yells, "STOP! SNAKE!" Right before my mom would have stopped on a baby rattle snake, which are more deadly than the parents, (they don't know when to leg go and stop releasing venom into you) and to top it off, it was a Western diamond back, which are dangerous.

7:24 my mother’s *mum instinct* saved my life when I was a toddler. My dad got me a trampoline for my 3rd birthday. My brother was told to watch me as I played excitedly. My mother had a feeling she couldn’t trust him to watch me so she watched through the window. My brother climbed the fence and jumped into our neighbour (his friend) back garden I ended up falling off and hitting my head bleeding everywhere. Thanks mum and her mum instinct

In the story about the grandma having a stroke, the person is part of why their grandma was able to make a full recovery and is in good health a couple of decades later (the grandma was treated quickly). In the 3rd story, I think that the guy was planning to steal the girl's stuff. I think her asking another guy to walk back to the parking lot with her was a good idea. In the story about the guy posing as a security guard, I agree with Kyutie that the guy should've been reported to the cops. When the girls told an actual security guard about the guy, the security guard said that the guy had been escorted out several times. He should've been banned from that place and been reported.

Sharing mine which happened very recently: I have usual nights when I can't fall asleep easily so I usually do some random stuff like read books my mom collected but never read or manga, or even watch videos. Last week, I had a long day of completing schoolwork but I just couldn't fall asleep and it was already past 1 am. I had a night lamp that I turn off when I want to sleep (it was still too bright for my liking) but this time, my gut was telling me to get up, turn it on, and just pick a book and read something. I tried sleeping it off as I had class the next day, but I just kept tossing and turning and it kept waking me up so at this point, i just gave in. I turned on my night lamp, listened to music, started and finished the book I was holding off from reading that day. I didn't sleep but didn't feel tired instead, I felt at ease. The next morning, I started my day as usual and when I opened my window curtains, I saw police cars and the police talking to our neighbor (my window was directly in front of their garden so I regularly made sure to always keep it closed and open it every morning to let the sunlight in). Apparently, they got robbed thousands of cash, gadgets and even their appliances. When they checked the CCTV footage installed in their house, the robbers climbed the walls behind *OUR* house, roamed our backyard then, balanced himself like a tightrope walker on our walls for a while (our walls are like 3-4 meters high with barb wire above it), and jumped into our neighbor's garden (which was across my window) and entered their door there. I don't know if they caught him already but my mom told me that it looked like they were really aiming for our house because they stopped for a moment before deciding to go to our neighbor's garden. Maybe it didn't have that much of an impact but we always made sure to lock ALL of our doors since that day and also, I bought a less brighter night lamp for my room and had it installed.

One day I had a bad feeling about going to school. Grams wasn't having it but the feeling never left. I ended up calling the house phone at lunch and she wasn't answering. I thought oh she just may be on the phone with her sister as usual. Then it hit me that it was too early as my great aunt worked until 3p. I kept calling and she didn't answer-phone line was busy. I ended up calling the neighbor who I asked to knock on the door and see if she would answer the door. Nothing. I left the school and ran home- found her on the floor..She had a really bad dizzy spell and passed out-hitting her head and the phone kept ringing busy because she had tried to reach it off the wall and knocked the receiver down. Dial pad was still on the wall. I called the ambulance and she went to the hospital. She ended up being ok.

There was one time as a kid I was hanging out with my friends it was a pretty hot day I started not being able to speak properly my friends were all laughing at me and I was laughing too but then I couldn’t feel my leg any more but it fixed itself it happened again but to my arm then again my too my cheek I just brushed it off we walked up to a skate park and my head hurt really bad then my eyes started aching then I just laid down in the shade and then called my mom to pick me up then went home and had a nap and then went to a dance class and was fine I don’t think my friends knee the level of how bad it was but I was ok my bf called my a bit later that day after he heard what happened to make sure I was ok I think I may have a had a very minor stroke that day

i have a scary story i had a boy best friend, he swore his mom was a medium. we were on the phone one day and he was at his moms house and she said "will (not his real name) tell her to watch out for that old man, he is bad" the next day i went for a bike ride with my mom and brother when all of a sudden i heard a old mans voice say "hey!" the next thing i new i was on the ground with my bike on top of me my mom and brother rushed over. later i asked if they heard the old man too and they had not. scares me to this day.

my sister got lost in Walmart because she needed to go to the bathroom and my brother wanted to get a car so my grandma and my 4 year old brother go to get one mean while my mother let my grandma know (we had separate carts) and my sister headed to the bathroom witch was by the toy cars and we head towards the food side of the store and then some how my grandma thought that my sister had left the bathroom after a while (my sister said her stomach didn't feel well) but then before we start to pay for our stuff our grandma with our little brother and sister came up to us and my sister was crying and our grandma told us that she got lost and just found her a few minutes before . . . we were heading to the 'scan & go' there was a line it would have been embarrassing if my mother had to tell one of the employees for me another story was at a trip to my fathers parents so we decided to stay at a really good hotel at Atlanta Georgia because we were going to a Aquarium near the hotel and ended up falling asleep a little bit after eating dinner my sister, mom, dad and little bro came with of course and I fell asleep pretty quickly but woke up at like maybe 12 or 1am and went to the bathroom and shut the door to loudly and I think woke up my sister so we watched N.C.I.S till 4am and she fell asleep and yet I was so awake to notice and say "WHOA!~" and gasp at every fish I saw there where huge manta rays and two whale sharks but the whole time watching N.C.I.S I was not tired at all
