First Story : 'stepmum' is either homophobic or she thinks the Dad's relationship with his kid is sexual. Either way it's f'ed up and she needs to understand that no matter how old a child gets, if the parents love their child they will always show affection no matter their age or sexuality. Also the fact that the 'brother' is siding with her tells me he has issues too. Second Story : Op needs to get a divorce from that man child who only thinks about himself. The fact that he still sees nothing wrong with what he did tells me he is extremely controlling and has a difficult time accepting a no. Plus he really tried guilt trpping her saying she was the one who was selfish and inconsiderate. Oh. The level. Of f'ing. Irony. Btw Hello Ellen.😊😊

The first story reminded me of a moment in my life. I was nine or ten years old and would run out of the house to hug my big brother whenever he got home from work.( This was during a hard time in my life where my dad was not around and so my big brother was like a father figure for me) Apparently, my brother's girlfriend/ex wife at the time didn't like it when I hugged my brother. She told my brother that she thought it was creepy and sexual that my brother wanted to hug me. So my brother was forced to stop hugging me because it made his abusive girlfriend uncomfortable that he showed any affection to me. I was so confused why at the time I wasn't allowed to hug my brother and felt sad.

@@lord_xylozdoomsday959 She was abusive to my brother. She did a whole slew of crazy things. She purposely would instigate others to pick a fight with her so that my brother would have to defend her ( My mom caught her trying to do it in a McDonald's parking lot. Another time she did it, it ended up getting my brother punched so hard in the face his teeth moved). She would insult my mother and she also got in a fight with my uncle who was a marine and the poor man had cancer at the time. She tried lying to my brother that she couldn't get pregnant (she could) and tried trapping him with a baby. The girl was nuts.

1st story: the dad is not in the wrong, in fact, he’s a great father who cares about his kids. I’m more upset at his wife who was straight up sexualizing him and his son all because he’s gay? That’s such a trashy and homophobic thing to do. 2nd story: She is not in the wrong either, exams are extremely important and since it was her last year of university it would determine her future. First story: the dad is so sweet~ Good on him for calling out his wife on her homophobia. Last story: what a controlling partner she has, major red flag! From French descent, here. When visiting relatives, at the time of departure, we children were told to "make the rounds"' which meant that we had to go around the room, say goodbye, and kiss the person on the mouth. Everyone. Whether we felt like it or not. But I must admit, some were better kissers than others! Basically, that's how I learned to kiss. And since almost all are now departed, it's a good memory.

me(19 y/o) and my sister (16 y/o) still cuddle our dad like we used to when we were little. he kisses us on our forehead before leaving to work, when he comes back, he sits with us, nowadays i am preparing for an exam so my sleep schedule is non existent(18-20 hours studying lol) and i am tired, cranky and what not, my dad though, he keeps checking in on me if i need something, doesn't matter if its 2 am, 4am or 11pm. He goes with me for walks at 4am in mid of my study break, makes me a snack and then goes back to sleep and when i am too tired and need to take a nap, i just climb in his bed and sleep beside him, he pats my head, or massages my shoulders, that always relieves my anxiety and stress. man just the day before, i pulled an all nighter and he told me to call him before i decide to sleep so that he can wake me up on time. he is a professor, and has a lot of work, leaves home at 7:30 am, comes back at 4:30 pm, and still somehow manages time to take care of me(even when he is at work), sometimes when he comes back, and i am studying stressfully, he fixes me a snack, without even resting first. he hugs me in public, holds my hand and we swing our arms, and kisses me on cheek before i go to my coaching institute and people judge him, for this, they are like, "its weird, your daughter is an adult, not a baby anymore.." they even go as far as to my mom to "complain" about his "inappropriate behavior", she shuts them down though. he is just taking care of me, like a father. i wonder how sick people are in the head to tell him to keep distance from his daughter. because of this sick mentality and some actual monstrous "fathers", parents like my dad can't even express their love for their own kids. i will definitely become the best neurosurgeon because of my parents.

He was thinking about how he needed to prevent her from having one because he knows that holding someone back is the only way that someone would stay with someone like him. Op from the first story call your wife out publicly for her homophobia also the brother. Like how dare op still be the affectionate father that he was with his children

I agree kyutie problem is this does happen kids exploit their kids but shouldn't be frowned upon either we want more sensitive boys but when it's happening n healthy way it's wrong so idk. Not her son maybe why it's a prob IDC gay or not 20 is older it is one sided wish we can have her input tho

The father was amazing... and totally correct. The woman should dump the husband, find someone who is more interested in a partner .

After certain age shouldn't be kissing anyone unless wedding day or give birth

I would legit just get a divorce, no second thought, for the second story. Husband clearly doesn't care about them at all.

If I knew someone how was taken an exam I would never 👎 bother them I would leave food 🍱 and snacks on the desk for them and drinks 🥤 too so they wouldn’t have to weary about it.

If the wife is bothered, she also shouldn't be hugging and kissing her straight son then.

So if they where straight that means she can't kiss their forehead and he can't give his daughter affection because she hasn't come out ?
