I don't think that this would be true. When you do Discovery and court, you have to provide the evidence that you have that you're going to use against each other. There's no way they could just catch them on guard like that. That's what Discovery is for in the first place. That seems more like a TV show court drama

Geez. That last story is such a downer. That lady and dirty cop basically committed insurance fraud (on a teenager might I add) and got away with it. By the time they found out the truth, the courts couldn’t do anything about it. That is such b*****it.

Yeah, I would have gone after her and the cop for insurance fraud. But first I would have sued them for liability. You could basically trap him into a no win situation where the cop has to testify.

My friend hired a private investigator to find her drill sgt from basic after she failed due a stress fracture while trying to join the army. Turns out, she was obsessed with him and he was trying to put as much distance between them as possible. Im not sure but if he knew about her fantasies she had about him, no wonder he cut all communication 😂 Yea, ladies can be very creepy too

I worked with a guy in the late 90's who was a former P.I. He had one case where a wife hired him to follow her husband as she suspected him of cheating. He follow the husband to a woman's house and was able to capture video of them hooking up through a bedroom window. He called the wife with his information while still at the house. She shows up with her adult son and all three of them stand outside the window watching the husband cheat. The son grabs the video camera and smashes it, punches his mother in the face and screams at her for embarrassing his father like that. My guy did not see that one coming.

6:00 I'm pretty sure if she told the police about her suspisions, she could've that investigation done for free. Also, I'm pretty sure most state don't need anyone to press charges for a sex offense against a child.

I highly recommend 'This Movie is Not Yet Rated' Its not actually a PI movie, but they do use a Private Investigator and its pretty interesting.

I was a lawyer for over 30 years, I employed PIs for various purposes, main one parental disputes, where one parent was contesting custody of their children. Very expensive, but the only viable method to collect the evidence. There were the personal injury cases for Insurance companies. Tracking missing persons was often used, they are a lot better than Police (who aren’t allowed to release information).

That's because it's not real. In court you have discovery, you can't just drop new information in the middle of a case. The opposing side would have already known of the situation because having a witness has to be disclosed and the evidence that you have has to be disclosed. There's no way that this would ever happen in an actual court case it would have been stricken from the record

It only took two stories to the the ugly side of "uncovering the truth" Wineyard work is back breaking work. Is not like you will get injured, but you will develop injury if you do it for the whole season. Lumberjacking is more physically demanding, but less likely to cause you back injury, more likely to cause you wrist and arm problems. If you are working in wineyards, and yet you need to do lumberjacking, it is clear that you are not beign payed enough to risk permanent back problems later on.
