I've had conversations with them a couple of times at small events and they are so authentically kind and gracious. They are so sweet together. I have been through a divorce. You cannot judge people because you never know what the marriage was actually like, and what they endured in it. It’s excruciating, especially as a Christian, to come to the point you know you must leave. It never happens easily. But at least mine didn’t happen in the public eye. I grew up listening to Amy Grant music. She happened to be one of the few Christian singers in the industry that wrote and sounded like a professional. I knew Gary Chapman struggled with addition and sadly had several marriages, but love is a choice and for a Christ follower is based upon 1 Corinthians 13. Many years later I tried reading Amy’s book and she didn’t sound like a Christian and neither did her relationship with Vince Gill. This interview is the same. She used so many terms and expressions that the world uses but not God.
