Yes, a three year old C-section can still give a woman issues! And who wants to carry groceries, laundry and a child up to the third floor. Plus it's a fall hazard. And who wants their child inhaling weed smoke. I'm sure the guy mentioned that they were moving out. He just didn't do it the right way and put it in writing. And most landlords don't want to give you any money back even when you leave the place in good condition. 🤔

It didn’t seem like JM wanted to award the plaintiff, he broke the contract period, case closed, but he got lucky by finding out the landlord wasn’t up to code and so he got his security deposit back. Believe it or not he was. I understand your point somewhat, a lot of militant guys (especially in court) make a better effort lol. During one his overseas duties/active trips, he ended up finding his wife/spouse, (which she testified during the case so it's not fiction or gossip lol) he gives off military/cop vibes. Maybe he has a donut addiction, as he was probably more built when he was serving, and now he's kinda a chubby big guy, but he was 100 percent in the military, and I say that as a Gay Black man with no military experience, just offhand research/people watching lol.

So the plaintiff won solely because the defendant didn't have a CO. When was the plaintiff going to tell that to the judge if she hadn't asked him (7:22) what his complaint was? He had gone on and on about everything except that game-changer. Not having a CO means there's essentially no lease; it's a month-to-month if anything. Plaintiff had the right to move at will.

JM told another landlord that you cannot keep a security deposit for damage repair if you’re renting an illegal “apartment (this one was a basement). Not being in code means there’s no CO, so this is also an illegal rental situation; the law applies.

Everyone in the comments who question her c section still hurts after 3 yrs because they had c sections with no lingering effects...good for you but everyone heals different, abdominal muscles are cut thru,nerves get damaged,etc which can effect other areas in the body which can linger on.my daughter has had 3 c surgery and she was very fit during her pregnancy and got back in shape after delivery.yet the procedure has triggered back pain randomly because she has scoliosis.she didn't have bad back pain prior to the surgery.i myself have had 7 surgeries that involved cutting thru abdomen and have issues with lingering pain even though i hike 5 to 7 miles a day in forest and am very fit.depends on the persons body and overall health

Depends on his circumstances/situation which we don't know, and it's not our business to know. This could be many moons ago, and he could have been in ROTC in High School and maybe his Dad also served, maybe when he met his wife during one of his active duties and she had their child, he had to focus on that/change careers etc, and maybe he sustained an injury, or physical/mental setbacks from civilian life etc. He looks like he's past 30 which in military terms is old age lol. Maybe he decided not to serve anymore, honorably/dishonorably discharge himself, and aside from free healthcare, his children probably get benefits for school, and he gets half off his meals at Dennys and IHOP, not much more the military can do, unless hes active again, and an officer, captain, lieutenant, corporal, commander etc. Again I'm just a Black gay guy with no military experience, just going off what I researched lol.
