Congrats on being sober, that is huge and I’m glad the judge gave a sincere response there, but following through with responsibilities is the next logical step, not a perk of sobriety you can choose. @@shivonneharris5109 that’s your takeaway. smh
@Sophie-mm7ow9 күн бұрын
In most states, it's illegal for the electric company to shut it off during the winter. Unfortunately, Texas is not one of those states. An 80 year old man paid his bill, and they still turned it off because they said he didn't pay it. We had a very cold few days and temperatures in the lower teens at night. A neighbor stopped by and couldn't get him to answer the door, so they called the police. The man was deceased. He froze to death. The family later proved that he had indeed paid the bills and sued the company. Companies should be required to contact a family member or someone else prior to turning off the electricity in the winter and summer.

He was in the police academy and couldnt work an extra job due to having to study all the time. Well.... that didn't take long. Not even a minute in, and I couldn't care less about the plaintiff or what she wants. Another single mother with 100% custody and moves in "new boyfriend" to pay the bills and play "new dad", even though the children have a father who guaranteed is paying child extortion payments for children that he isn't allowed to co-parent. It's never about what's right for the children, just about what the MOTHER wants. ~~ Now it's two minutes in, and there's no respect for the defendant, either. ANOTHER single mother, this one a doper, that plans to get her children BACK as if it's her "right" as a mother to have custody. Guaranteed she doesn't pay a nickel for the years she doesn't have custody. "I don't think either of you are much of a planner". Of course they aren't.... they're single mothers on foodstamps.
