Yuliana parabéns pela entrevista, emocionante. Sobre os soldados brasileiros na Itália na II Guerra, até hoje são homenageados na Itália por terem ajudado a libertar a Itália do nazismo. Na época os soldados foram corajosos, não tinham roupas adequadas ao frio, mas lutaram com honra e bravura em defesa da vida e contra o nazismo. Muitos morreram em solo italiano . Eu rezo pela Rússia hoje, por acreditar que realmente é uma guerra contra o mal em tidos os sentidos, políticos e espirituais.

Maybe not . they should not know it - when Europe was catholized the first they did was to destroy Icons - because they knew exactly what they are and what happens to those whom are completly uprooted. And as Ernst Jünger said if you remove the angels and gods from the templles they don't remain empty, instead the Demons take over. People have forgotten very, very many things which are crucial for life and existence. I hoped that these things as Andrej describes would happen in Russia (I prayed for it many times) - and they do - Russia is strong not only through it's nature, but also it's people - hopefully in the process the whole nation will re-awake - as will parts of Europe. In case of Europe it will be a very, very complicated and long winding process.

Extremely interesting to understand the psychology & spirituality at play in this conflict. For Russia it is an existential struggle & it has been going on for millennia. UK as the inheritor of Roman Empire has been a steady foe of Russia even before it became USSR. Maybe it has to do with orthodoxy as Pepe says. I support the people of Donetsk, and I believe God is with you, but my heart broke when I heard about the story of an icon of Mary bearing milk, and then I am sorry I laughed when the icon of St George started bearing milk. Come people St George is alive in heaven today, but he is a man, not a lactating woman. And what would Mary, a modest righteous woman, think of this? What if there was an image of you and it started bearing milk? To me as a Reformed Christian this sounds like fraud or something demonic, designed to distract people from the one true God revealed in Jesus who spoke with children and healed the sick. Why pay so much attention to a mere image of his mere mother when you have the stories of Him in your Bible?
