Huh? This was predicted as early 2007, I remember questioning what NATO said in 2004, because in my head there was no way Ukraine would betray the only brother that is taking care of them, while EU isolate them in the global market. An expert in 2007 pointed it out that due to global movements, its possible Ukraine will break its relation with Russia to try break into the EU global market. Another expert in 2009 I think, predicted Ukraine, Taiwan, any Middle East country near Iraq(Syria was picked), and he was just saying which country US targets next. Today, I'm just mind blown how none of us took this serious, back then I thought it was just mumbo jumbo. US is a country that grows by taking from others, that's the only rule. Ww1 US was in the war only in the late stage for 1 year, same thing in ww2, late stage for 1 year, and people are brainwashed to think if it wasn't for US, EU will be speaking German, which is not only nowhere near the facts, but to this day, US or Americans and UK people believes deep down they saved EU from the Nazis and to this day who US claims to be an enemy of freedom and liberty, Americans just believes it to be true. China is still a communist country, and its thriving beyond belief, once they were bad examples.

The old silk road went from Imperial China to India and Imperial Iran. Rome never got the spices that is why Colombus went to find India but he went to the Americas thinking they were Indians and instead of spices he looted their gold.

Actually, goods from the Old Silk Road did reach Rome, via the Levant and Turkey. But, by the 15th century, these routes were controlled by the Turks. That's what prompted Columbus to search for alternatives.

Russia does have the American beat when it comes to both defensive rockets and offensive ones and Russia does have a strong military but it doesn't have the huge population to draw recruits from a and Russia certainly doesn't have the economic might to go against America. China has the population to overwhelm America on the ground and it has the economic power to stand toe to toe against America. Not only that but Russia lacks a powerful naval fleet to go against America's overwhelming navy. China is very smart. Instead of trying to build an aircraft fleet to fight toe to toe they are pumping out every week a new destroyer and a new submarine. Russia could never stand alone without China's support. China might do what America did in WWII when America waited until the Brits were nearly destroyed before joining the fight against the Nazis. This time Russia will be like Britain was in WWII and America is the new aggressor. China may wait until Russia weakens America and in their effort come close to destruction before China comes to the rescue. After all China and Russia share a long border that has been under contention for a very long time. Putin himself recognizes that there is no military alliance between them and you can bet that he's very nervous about what that means. I would bet that the lack of a military alliance is NOT BY RUSSIA'S CHOICE BUT BY CHINA'S. Oh there is one area where Russia is the world's leading power and that is the Arctic. They have bases there and their ice breakers are the best and most numerous in the world. Alaska would be an easy target for Russia to capture and once there all of North America is within easy reach for the Russian army, airforce and even their small navy. Russia does have a very powerful submarine fleet. Russia will not be easy to defeat as Napoleon and Hitler found out. Anyway I see it America won't surrender its global hegemony without an all out war including nuclear weapons. There are idiots in the Pentagon that are telling Trump that they could win a nuclear war. If that happens it will be the end of all live on a radioactive planet. American idiots are working to convince Trump and anyone else that will listen that if they use preemptive strikes only on the battlefields Russia will either surrender or stick to battlefield strikes of their own. I doubt it very much! If the Russian military is attacked with nuclear weapons you can bet the farm that Russia will respond with their full nuclear arsenal. They know what America did to Japan after the Japanese were already defeated except for some minor squrmishes. America wanted to blow defenseless civilians up when it was completely unnecessary. They weren't even satisfied with flattening one city. They blew up two cities full of civilians. America has never had a moment since WWII when they were not at war with some defenseless nation either with their military, or by their sanctions which are designed to kill civilians, or by proxies like ISIS which America created to fight Assad. Russia knows that America will never be satisfied with surrender; nothing short of total destruction of their country will be accepted. China knows that Russia is not the main target; it is China that America wants to destroy. China knows they will be forced to fight America eventually. That's why they are building islands that cover their coast and are really unsinkable aircraft carriers designed to defend the mainland and their trade routes, not to attack America.

Fantastic video. I love Pepe’s ability to put these complicated topics into simple, digestible words.
