Joe is what happens when you play air guitar, air piano, and air drums while the music attacks your nervous system all at the same time. I know this because this is how i dance. i thought i was a freak until i saw Joe in a video as a kid. Thanks Mr. Cocker!

Im so glad someone else noticed that's EXACTLY what he's doing is playing all the air instruments at one time ! Everyone else was always saying "" there's something wrong with him "" I'd laugh and say ""just watch and observe what he's Actually doing"" Some people got it, the others that didn't Imo they weren't feeling it,lol. I've been listening to him since the early 70's. A very talented artist 👍👍

Air guitar, air piano, air drums! What a unique special talent he was throughout the years! I saw him in Hollywood, FL in the early 70's with Leon Russel at Pirate's World. I was personally insulted when John Belushi mocked him on stage in a version of SNL, but in later years found humor in the musical sketch! As far as I know Joe never commented maliciously.

Rumor has it, Joe saw that impression and asked what that was all about, he had to be told that he does all that stuff onstage... he never really realized it, and when asked about it, said he was playing air guitar, and air piano, and air drums sorta all at once... he toned that down after that.
